Chapter 8: Truth Revealed

The story starts off at night in the settlement of Kuo Kuana where the broken moon is shining. The scene then changes to the belladonna house. Inside was our hero Kyle Rivera who was sitting on the couch in the library feeding baby Nicholas.

"There, there, little one drink up as much as you so you can be big and strong." As Kyle was feeding Nicholas, steps could be heard behind Kyle.

Kyle then turned his head and smiled as he saw it was Kali Belladonna. "Hey, Kali how are you doing?"

Kali then frowns as Kyle says that making him confused.

Kali: Kyle you don't have to use my name you know remember what I let you call me?

"Oh right, sorry mom," Kyle said, which made Kali and walks towards Kyle and sits on the couch.

Kali: That's my boy.

If you are wondering why Kyle calls Kali mom it's because Kyle has been staying with Kali for a while as well as being the son Kali never had. You see after Kyle found Nicholas he asked Kali if they could stay with her as well as help him take care of little Nicholas.

Kyle was hesitant at first as he was asking a lot but she said right off the bat and ever since Kyle and Nicholas have been staying with her as a family. Plus Kali was happy that she has a son and grandson now after Blake left creating a void which Kyle and Nicholas helped fill.

Now you may be wondering what Kyle has been up to since he has been living in Menagerie well Kyle has been helping out the city by curing the sick, feeding the poor and stopping the crime.

If you are wondering how well Kyle has been using his police training he learned from the version of Jaune where he was a cop and created a special police force for Kuo Kuana.

The police force consisted of humans and Faunus so diversity wouldn't be an issue plus in doing so trust was established between humans and Faunus and crimes became less accruing.

Not only that Kyle helped with the shortage of food as well as living space by secretly using the god of darkness powers to change most of the desert into a forest making it easier for people to create new settlements but also created new areas to farm fruits and vegetables.

Most people didn't know how some of the deserts become forests but they didn't care as they have new farmland and living space.

Now with that said Kyle and Kali could be seen tucking in Nicholas in his crib in Kyle's room. Kali then kisses Kyle on the cheek and Nicholas on the forehead.

Kali: Night you two sweet dreams.

"Kay mom see you in the morning," Kyle then sees Kali leave the room and close the door. "Well time for bed," Kyle then took off his shirt and pants and was now wearing boxers and a nightshirt.

Kyle then goes to his bed and lies down on it and then closes his eyes and falls asleep. As Kyle sleeps he starts to dream which the screen then starts to fade.

As Kyle was dreaming he opened his eyes and saw that he wasn't in his room with Nicholas.
