The guys finished and moved all the boxes to the guest room upstairs that I would stay in. There were multiple guest rooms which blows my mind how big this house is. Casie and I handed the guys lemonade for doing pretty much all the work. I don't think only men should have to do the heavy lifting but personally, I don't like to do heavy lifting. I'm weak, okay.

Casie helped me decorate my room and clean it everywhere. I helped her change out of her pajamas and had her put on a t-shirt and shorts. All the guys left and we decided to make it a fun day without boys. I drove her to the park and she immediately ran to the swing. I chased after her and lifted her up and on to the swing.

She giggled each time I pushed and it was so cute. And then there were times when she would start saying, "Wheeeee!" I couldn't get enough of her adorableness.

"Is this your daughter?" a tall man asked. He had dark brown hair that fell over his eyes a little. He wore simple clothes and he was fairly muscular.

"Uh no I'm her babysitter."

"Oh sorry if that was rude to ask. I- I have a son here and he looks like the same age as her," he said gesturing to Casie.

"Don't worry, it wasn't that rude. Casie is the daughter of my friend Colson. She's five. How old is yours?"

"Leo is six but that's close enough to five. He's the boy climbing the rock wall." I look over and the little boy waved at us and we waved back.

"We could have them play around together. He seems so sweet. You and your wife are very lucky," I say still pushing Casie on the swing.

"Yeah well um actually I'm not married anymore. My wife actually passed away. But um sure I'll get Leo over here," he said and walked a few steps towards the play structure. "Leo come down here for a second."

The little boy slid down the swirly slide and ran over to his dad. The man walked back to us and I told Casie that she can meet a new friend. She smiled and I helped her off the swing. Leo ran ip to Casie and said, "Hi I'm Leo. You're pretty. Wanna play?"

"Ok," she walked away with him and she waved goodbye to me. Technically we wanted to make this a girl's day but that didn't matter.

"I'm Greg by the way," he introduced himself. "I don't remember if I told you before."

"You didn't and sorry about your wife. I'm y/n by the way."

"So how's life as a babysitter treating you?"

"Uh pretty good. I also do standup comedy whenever I have openings but I mostly just take care of Colson's little girl. I'm basically full time now since I live with them. I'm like their housekeeper that they get to call a friend."

"That's cool. I'm a trainer at a fitness center it's actually the one right across from here. 24 hour fitness."

"You see like I would be a trainer and all but that involves like work so I'm okay. I like running but that's it."

"I mean there's treadmills so if you ever wanna stop by, you can come any time," he winked. He better be single.

"Yeah and if you ever want to laugh at me for about ten minutes, you can come to my shows anytime," I winked but then got sand in my eye so then I had to keep blinking. Ooh smooth. "Sorry, that meant to be flirty but there's sand in my eye now."
