Pencil tapping always kept my mind off my situation. I had zero interest to being here. I hated being here. My life here is the worst in the most possible way. I can't phantom how many times I've told the administrators about my issues with students here. As per usual nothing was done. The antagonizing is getting worse reach and every single day I wake up to go to the hell they call school. I have no friends and I sit all by myself. I wanted to go to Hoover private with all my friends but I ended up going to McKinley career & academics school. It's like where ever I go trouble and drama follows me.

The last bell for the day rang. I received a text message from my egg donor

Hey, can we talk please?

I rolled my eyes and didn't respond. I began to walk to McDonald's and my phone dinged again.

What did I do jazzy? I'm trying to get through but you're just ignoring me.

What doesn't she get that I don't wanna talk to her? I locked my phone in got in the car.

"How was school?"

I shrugged, "same ole , same ole grandma"

She looked at me shocked, "grandma? I thought my name was mama T"

I shook my head, "do you not wanna be my grandma?" I asked looking over at her

She looked at me and sighed, "Jasmine, tell me all that you know"

I stayed silent and didn't answer.

"You must know something that I don't know" she continued

I frowned, "how? You are the mother of my mother are you not?"

She turned into the highway, "listen my mouth is shut"

"Of course. Nothing out of the usual. My own family not even on my side but hold loyalty to the woman that gave me up because of her decisions she made as a teen. I didn't ask to be her mawmaw"

"I know sweetie I know but you have to let the time be right. There's more to it than you think"

"My mom gave me to mya and put my dad in jail, Yea sure"

She shook her head, "DONT be stubborn jaja"

"I'm not being stubborn I'm being honest. I want nothing to do with that woman"

She sighed shaking her head not responding. She unlocked her phone dialed a number. The minute I recognized the voice I pressed the end call button. My grandma looked ate like I had two heads

"Tina Marie?!"

"Don't talk to her." I said

"Jazzy please. Be patient please" she begged looking at me with so much love and hope.she caressed my cheek. "Your mother loves you. Loves with all her heart okay? She wants no bad seeds with you. Her intentions were pure"

"She left me" I mumbled, "I just don't want to be around her. She lied to me everytime I spoken to her. Now why should I hear or wait for her to explain herself"

"It's not an explanation. It's the reality of the fact that she wasn't stable to be your mom.."

"She's rich"

"Money has nothing to do with this. You was your moms heart and joy. You're the reason she's at this peak in her career now. You're the reason she's still here sweetie. Just give her time. There's a lot you don't know"

I rolled my eyes. Always excuses for her. She's grown. No one put a gun to her head to sit here for 10 straight years and lie to me. She did all of this to herself. She called back and Tina answered
