I'm Sorry...
~

"Can you just stop!" I shouted towards Katara because we got into an argument.

"What do you want from me!? Can't you do your own stupid laundry!? I feel like I do all the work around here!"

"No one asked you to go through my stuff! I was gonna do my own laundry before you decided to go through my stuff!!"

"Well maybe if you'd do it then I wouldn't have to!"

"No one asked you to do it! You just want to play victim! You don't have to do anything! You could've left my stuff alone! Was it bothering you princess?" The last part I basically growled out. Entitled brat.

"You know maybe we should've just left you in the North Pole if you want to act like a brat!"

Oh hell no. I could tell she regretted what she said but that didn't stop me.

"Maybe you should have!!!!!" I shouted at her and felt the energy exit my body. I lit the grass beside me on fire.

When I looked up they all flinched and looked scared for a second. I held my hands loosely to my chest and backed up. Then took off into the woods.

Thorns ripped at the end of my clothes. Some catching my shoulder. Heels were not ideal for running angry through a forest.

That's all they'd ever see me as I guess. Anytime I used my ability I would be seen as a monster. If Katara made water explode out of anger no one would give her those scared looks.

🔥🔥🔥

I don't even know where I am now. I had been running for what felt like the rest of the day. I was exhausted.

"Oh my gosh. Are you ok?"

I looked up at a nice old lady.

I rubbed my face to clear up any redness or anything else. Then I just looked forward not saying anything.

I felt wrinkly soft hands grab my hand and pull me in the ladies direction.

"Come with me child."

I decided not to question it and just followed her.

"My name is Kyo, what's yours?"

"Kai."

She smiled at me and started talking about her grandkids. I wasn't listening much. It's strange. Why would she be so friendly to a stranger? That's putting herself in danger.

"Oh dear. Your clothes are ruined. I have some of my daughters old clothes from when she was a teenager. Though she has questionable taste." She then looked at what I was wearing. "Though you may have the same taste."

I giggled as the old women pulled me into this really nice house. Woah. It reminded me of my old home. The lady had a nice two story house on a huge field and some pig-sheep in a fenced in area.

"Follow me."

The sweet old lady led me into her home and brought me to an old room. She handed me this neon green outfit that kind of had the same design theme as the one I had on. Ok seriously. My next outfit isn't finna be the flashy. After this one. Cause they kind of cute honestly.

The pants matched the shoes so I left them off and put on the black ankle socks. I also left of the green skirt and gloves. If I left then I'll put them on. Excuse me when I leave. I wonder if the group was worried about me.

"How does it fit?" The old lady, Kyo, stuck her head in as I laid the sleeves, shoes, and skirt on the bed. "Perfect fit." She looked pleased with herself.

"I appreciate what you've given me." I bowed at the short women. She was my height so she was kind of short.

"Why don't you come eat dinner. My husband actually cooked some delicious food and my two youngest grandkids are spending the night." Gosh she's being awful nice. Why though?

"Thank you ma'am." She smiled and led me to a dinner table full of food. Two little boys, that looked 4 each, ran in. An old man close behind them. Once they saw me they stopped and looked at me with equally as inviting smiles as the old lady, Kyo.

"Kai this is the twins Akito and Xao. My husband Paotun." Gosh these are a lot of names to remember.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." I stood up and offered my hand to Paotun which he gladly took.

The twins smiled at me and we all sat down. We passed food around the table. The twins would throw food at each other when their grand parents weren't looking.

"So Kai. Where are you from?" Seriously why do people always ask questions? Why do you want to know stuff about me? To make conversation?

"I'm a nomad." That's technically true now. "I was with a group."

"Are you lost? Your awful young to be by yourself."

All right calm down. I'm 15.

"I got into an argument with someone in the group about personal stuff."

The old lady nodded her head but she wasn't done with her questions.

"How old are you?"

"15. I'll be 16 in a couple months."

"Where are your parents?"

I stopped eating and looked down at my food.

"I'm actually I'm kind of tired. I better go get my stuff and go catch up with my friends before it gets to dark." Before she could say anything I got up and went to the room where the rest of my outfit was. I didn't leave the group with anything so I was just on my own for now. I don't even remember what direction the group is in.

I finished putting my clothes on then hurried out the door. I was almost defenseless. I couldn't use my fire bending here. They might hurt me...like they did my dad.

God I was scared. I could only guess at what direction they were in based off direction we came from when they lady brought me to her house.

At least now my outfit looked like it was Earth kingdom clothes. My previous one looked like it was water tribe. But showed to much skin and was to thin to be in snow.

🔥🔥🔥

I had been walking for like thirty minutes and it was dark by now. The dirt right here was clean and had no leaves or bugs. So I laid down some green banana tree leaves so I could make a clean bed beside the creek. I used a little cone of branches I made to make a fire. It was freezing tonight. What the hell. It's always warm. It had been since I got here. Why was tonight cold.

"I know where she is. Let's go!" Aang jumped up from where he had been meditating.
