TESTING WATERS 2
"Anna commeee!!" Precious whined as she held out her iPhone in front of herself and Oma. "Come be in the video now!!" She ordered like a mother would order her child but Anna paid no heed.
"Party Pooper." Oma muttered but it was loud enough for Anna to hear. The mute girl rolled her eyes not planning on going in front of the camera. She thought they were being immature and irresponsible by making a video of themselves on the road. What if someone came and jumped them, taking Precious' very expensive iPhone and their own not very expensive androids. They were just girls that couldn't defend themselves, they'd just be the victims. Her friends didn't think of that though, no they just wanted to make enough videos and take enough pictures for that stupid Lomotif app.She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to give them a glare but she instead came face to face with the back camera. She flipped the camera off, earning a series of 'ooohhhhs' from her friends. She turned to them, and gave them the middle fingers with her sweater covered hands.
"You are mean." Oma mocked but Anna just rolled eyes for the umpteenth time that night. She finally turned her frown upside down at the sight of the big lesson building not very far from her. She had never been so happy to see a building, it meant that she was going to escape her crazy friends; there was only so much Oma and Precious that an Anna could take. She was about to fast walk toward the lesson, when the most lovely voice she ever heard called her name. She still hadn't gotten to the way her name rolled off his tongue, it made her feel all giddily inside. She turned around in lightning speed and cast her eyes on Henry walking up to them, that was after seeing the smirks on her friends' face.
He walked up to her and engulfed her in a hug. "How are you babe? How do you feel." She just tightened her arms around him as a reply. She had totally forgotten that they were in front of so many people, she liked being in his arms, it gave her a sense of relaxation and comfort.
"I was thinking you weren't going to show up today again, so I'd have a good enough reason to go to your house and see my honey." That was the second time that night that he was using a pet name on her. She liked it. She looked down at what he said, making her friends awe at her.Snapping out of it, she took him by the hand not wanting to be out there in the cold night anymore. She didn't know where her new found confidence came from, but she wasn't complaining. She tried dragging him in the direction of the lesson, but it was no use at all. She looked back at him to see him already looking at her.
"Actually..." He trailed and she stared at him with raised eyebrows waiting for him to talk. "I was thinking we should ditch all of us, go somewhere nice, get a treat." He said and Anna's eyes widened
"Oh my that's so cool, we don't have to face stupid Mr Nat." Oma exclaimed.
"I'll call Jamie, Oma call Hosea."No no no." Henry interjected. "I said the four of us, not plus your boyfriends. I'm not paying for their food, they are food mongers."
"Food? So you are taking us to eat then. Oma's eyes lightened up."
"Henry what are you trying to do? Is Anna not enough for you? You want two more girls." Precious teased and to that he just rolled his eyes.In all of their conversation, they didn't notice a very nervous looking Anna. She didn't even mind that Precious had teased Henry about her, she was just dazed. She didn't want to go out, she just wanted to go to the lesson and learn and then go back home to peace and quiet where she would be safe from him. She tapped Henry on his shoulder, getting his attention and that of her friends. When they looked at her, she stared at the ground and shook her head, telling them that she wasn't planning on ditching.
