Chapter 18

Finns POV

"Hello. Is this the residence of Autumn Harries?" A voice said on the other line.

"Yeah. This is her brother, who's this?" I asked.

"I am from Tulsa City Hospital. Autumn was involved in an accident on the corner of Suller and Paril street. It's pretty bad." I dropped the phone before she could say anything else an bolted out the door. I jumped in my car and sped down to the location of the accident. When I arrived, I hopped out and sprinted through the crowd. I ducked under the police tape and ran to the scene, immediately regretting it. The small car was in the middle of the street. The whole front hood was smashed, mainly on the drivers side, the windshield was shattered, along with the driver side windows. There was blood splattered all over the ground, and a body sprawled on a stretcher. I recognized Autumn right away. There was a huge gash running down the side of her face, blood gushing out. Her arms and legs were all cut up. I ran towards her. She had an oxygen mask over her nose an mouth, and she was unconscious. They grabbed the stretcher and carefully wheeled it into the ambulance.

"Finn Harries?" A paramedic called out. I walked towards her.

"That's me." I told her.

"Would you like to come with in the ambulance?" She questioned. I nodded and hopped in, sitting next to Autumn. I grabbed her hand as a tear rolled down my cheek. We arrived at the hospital and I followed them into the emergency room. A doctor stopped me at the door.

"Family only." He told me.

"I'm her brother!" I answered as he let me in. Everything was a big blur in the ER. I decided to call the gang. I walked up to the front desk and they let me use their phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sodapop. It's Finn. Get the gang and bring em to the hospital. Autumn was in a car crash."

"Well be right there."
