Chapter 8

I woke up the next morning in my bed. Ponyboy had his arms wrapped around my waist, and I was curled up in his chest. I smiled, not wanting to leave his warm embrace. I felt the familiar churning and jumped up, running to the bathroom. I threw up in the toilet, stinking up the bathroom. I felt my hair being gently pulled back as I threw up more. Ponyboy rubbed my back, softly.

"You okay?" He asked, worried. I nodded.

"Yeah. It's just morning sickness. Thanks." I told him. I brushed my teeth a few times, and tied my hair in a messy bun on top of my head. Pony wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek from behind. I smiled, blushing.

"I love you, babe." He told me.

"I love you too pone." I replied, hugging him. We pulled away and walked out of the bathroom. The door opened and Kaitlin and gabi rushed in. Kaitlin attacked me with a hug.

"Woah! Hey!" I said, laughing. She pulled away.

"OMG hey! You're back! We missed you!" She exclaimed. I laughed again and hugged gabi.

"We missed you Autumn!" She exclaimed. I smiled.

"I missed you guys too." I told her. She grinned.

"Hey pony." Kaitlin greeted, grabbing an apple from the kitchen.

"Hey." He greeted her. Gabi said hi also, and they sat down on the couch.

"So..how're things going with Sodapop?" I asked gabi.

"I dunno. I kinda wanna give him some time yanno? I mean he just broke up with sandy.." Her voice trailed off. I nodded in understanding.

"Hey! We should go to the park or the beach or something! Yanno, hang out as a gang again. Everyone's always going there own way, I miss the good ole days when we were all together." I suggested. Pony wrapped his arm around me and nodded.

"That's a good idea. Where should we go?" He asked.

"Bowling? Park? Arcade? Pool? Mall?" Kaitlin rambled on. I giggled.

"How bout the beach?" Gabi asked.

"OMG WE CAN GO KAYAKING!" Kaitlin screamed. I laughed.

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

"Woah.. What's all the screaming?" A tired Soda asked. Gabi blushed.

"Sorry soda." Kaitlin stated, giggling. I could swear I saw a blush creeping up on her cheeks. Does she like soda too? No, she wouldn't do that to gabi. Would she?

"Yeah that sounds like fun!" Soda exclaimed. I smiled and nodded. Steve, two-bit and dally walked in.

"Hey guys." Steve greeted. I waved.

"Y'all wanna come to the beach with us?" I asked them. Two-Bits eyes widened.

"Yes!!!" He yelled. I laughed.

"Sure." Dally replied. Steve agreed. We all got our suits on. I was wearing a black and white floral bikini with a baby blue romper, Kaitlin was wearing a paint splatter bikini with a pink romper, and gabi was wearing a navy blue bikini with white stripes and a grey romper. I threw my long, brown, curly hair into a high ponytail.

"Ooh.. We look totes adorbs!" Kaitlin obsessed. I laughed and we grabbed a bunch of towels, going downstairs. The boys were already down there. Ponyboy was wearing red trunks, soda was wearing blue, dally was wearing black, Steve was wearing dark green, and two-bit was wearing orange. I knocked on Finns door.

"Come in." He called. I entered.

"Hey! Were gonna head down to the beach. Do you wanna come?" I invited.

"I think I'll pass this time, I have a lot of studying. Thanks though." He replied, smiling. I grinned and said goodbye, leaving. I got in sodas car with pony and Steve, and Kaitlin, gabi, and dally went in two-bits car. After about forty five minutes, we pulled up to the beach. I hopped out, holding Pony's hand. We all walked down the sand and looked around. There were about ten people here, and it went on for miles! It was so empty! I grinned and we laid down our towels and bags.

"Last one to the waters a rotten egg!" Two-bit yelled, running towards the water. I laughed and ran after him, tripping every now and then. Ponyboy chuckled from behind me as I tripped yet again. I giggled and glared at him playfully. He scooped me up and kissed my cheek, running to the water. I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck as the cold water splashed up against my back. He set me down. The water was up to halfway up to my neck, and it was up to everyone else's chest. I fake pouted, crossing my arms. Dallas laughed and ruffled my hair. Ponyboy squatted down a little until he was my height.

"There." He declared, grinning. I giggled and pushed him backwards, making him fall into the water. He came back up and smirked at me, glaring. I shrieked and started running/swimming away. I heard him chasing behind me. I laughed as his hands grabbed my waist, spinning me around to face him. Pony cupped my face with one hand, keeping the other on my waist, and pressed his lips to mine, gently. I smiled into the kiss. We pulled away and I giggled.

"That was some pretty nice revenge." I told him, laughing. He grinned and laughed, also.

"I know." He replied, taking my hand.
