"Y/n." Remus' voice made me freeze in my step. I turned to Regulus, silently asking him to leave.
"Are you sure?" He asked me while looking at my brother and his friends. I nodded, making him sigh and continue walking down the corridor. I turned to look at my brother, raising my eyebrows questioningly.
"What you did was extremely foolish-"
"I know what you're going to say, so you might as well save it." He shook his head, releasing a sigh.
"That was exactly why I didn't want you to do it."
"If you wouldn't have pushed me away every time I asked you to help me, maybe I would've known what to expect." I raised my voice at him.
"So it's my fault now-"
"Of course it is, Remus! I was only trying to help you!"
"So if I told you from the start that I didn't need you help, you would've left me alone?" I gasped, closing my eyes. "Shit-"
"No, no. I get it. You don't need me as much as I thought you did." I tried to keep my cool, not wanting to show me how much he hurt me. I turned around, heading towards the classroom at the end of the corridor.
"Y/n- wait-" He called after me, but he didn't follow me. He knew I needed to be alone.A few hours had passed since my fight with my brother and I was the first to leave the last class of the day. The only thing I'd wanted was to go to bed. Just as I closed the classroom door after me, I saw Sirius walking towards me. I sighed, not actually wanting to see any of my brother's friends right now. I wanted to walk past him, but his hand on my wrist stopped me.
"Are you alright?" He asked me quietly, making me sighe.
"I should be asking you that. You saved me-"
"Answer my question, Y/n." I closed my eyes.
"I'm okay-"
"You haven't gone to the Hospital Wing, have you?" He asked me knowingly, but I stayed quiet. "You're just like your brother."
"I don't need to go to the Hospital Wing. It's just a few scratches."
"Can I see them?" His question shocked me. I raised my eyes to meet his, raising an eyebrow. "I was the one who helped you turn. I can't leave you deal with it by yourself." I shook my head at his words. He wouldn't do this if he knew how I felt about him.
Finally, I'd accepted his help, leading him towards the Slytherin Common Room. Once we got to my dorm room, I turned my back to him, letting him check out my back. He hissed as he lifted up my shirt.
"This doesn't look good at all. You should go to Madam Pomfrey to look at it."
"And say what? That I went to help my werewolf brother-"
"You don't have to tell her anything. Her job is to help you and that's it."I sat down on one of the beds in the Hospital Wing with Sirius by my side. Madame Pomfrey cleaned my cuts, then she applied cream, followed by a bandage.
"You should be alright, dear. If it still hurts after a few say, come back. If not, it should be completely healed in a week or so, but it looks like they will scar." I nodded, thanking her and leaving.
"I'm sorry." I said as we made our way towards the Great Hall for dinner.
"For what?"
"For pulling you into this mess." He laughed, looking at me.
"I was already in this mess. You were the one who joined it. That's why Remus-"
"Don't talk about him."
"He's your brother and my best friend, it's impossible for me not to." He said as he pushed the doors to the Great Hall open. We parted ways, I went to the Slytherin table, where I sat between Cissy and Regulus. Sirius sat next to Remus, who was glaring at him.
"What's up?"
"What were you talking about?" Sirius faked confusion at his question.
"I don't know what-"
"With Y/n. I saw you talking as you entered the Great Hall." Sirius shrugged.
"We just said hello." Remus nodded. He felt
like Sirius was hiding something from him, but he didn't push further.Author's Note: Hi!! I've finally updated!! I'm sorry it took so long, my life's really hectic at the moment!! I've edited all the parts before this!! Hope you enjoyed it!!
