-Mitch-
I woke up in the middle of the night to a huge pain in my stomach. I sat up quickly and shook Scott, "Scott. Please wake up!"
I tried to get up but the pain was so bad I couldn't move. I just sat there, in pain. Waiting for Scott.
"Mitch. What's wrong?" He jumped up out of bed and came over to my side. He grabbed his shoes and put on clothes then helped me up.
"Scott." He carried me out of the apartment and down to the car. When he put me in and buckled me, I set my head on my knees. The pain was terrible.
As Scott was driving, I sat up. I felt something cold and wet under me. I lifted myself up a little and Scott looked over, worried. He gasped and threw his hand over his mouth when he looked at the seat. He looked back to the road as tears fell down his cheeks.
"Scott. I lost her. Didn't I?" He didn't respond, "Didn't I?!" He shook his head.
"I-I don't know. Just hold on." He grabbed my hand and cried until we got to the hospital. He grabbed me out of the car and ran into the hospital, "Help! Somebody help me!" He screamed. Everyone looked at us. A nurse came over and then doctors came over with a gurney. They set me down and I curled up in ball.
I looked up and saw Scott standing back at the front desk. I knew they wouldn't let him in.

I woke up in a hospital room. I felt so empty. I looked around and didn't see anyone. I pushed my nurse button and soon a younger nurse came in, "What do you need sweetie?""Scott. I need my Scott." She nodded and left the room.
Minutes later, Scott rushed in with a doctor slowly following him, "Mitch! Oh my god." He hugged me tight and I groaned, "I'm sorry love. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"No. I'm okay." He turned away from me to look at the doctor.
"What happened? Is he okay? I-Is the baby okay?" The doctor's head fell and he sighed, "Is she okay?"
"No. Mitch came in here with a lot of blood coming out of him and he was in a lot of pain. He lost the baby." Oh. My. God.
"No. No this can't be happening." Scott shook his head and then sat down next to me. I looked down at my stomach. My flat stomach. No wonder I felt empty.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"Mitch. We had her removed from your body. She's been dead for a few days."
"My baby." I sobbed and sobbed. The doctor left eventually but I couldn't regain myself. Scott tried to calm me down but I just wanted to cry. My baby was gone. My little girl. Gone.
