"No. I think the room should be neutral."
"So maybe blue?"
"Yes. There ya go." I said to Scott. We were picking out colors for the nursery.
"I like this one." He handed me a nice shade of baby blue.
"Perfect Scott. Loves it. Let's go get it and then go get her bed."

We got back and Scott started painting the nursery while I put away all the clothes for Marley. This was going to be perfect. Only 2 months left to go and we have our baby girl."I love it Scott. It's absolutely perfect. Thank you." I was standing in the doorway of her room staring at it. It was perfect.
"I love it. I think the baby blue was the best choice today."
"Me too. Besides that super cute sweater we got from the store. I love that more than the paint."
"Wow." He laughed at me and went to put up Marley's mobile above her bed.
"Her room is so perfect Scott. It makes me even more excited."
"Me too. I can't tell you how excited I am to bring her home and have her sleep in this room that I so gladly put together for her. She's a lucky little lady I'll tell ya that much."
"Yes she is. She has two daddies that love her very very much." I said rubbing my stomach.
"She does. We love you more than anything, Marley." Scott said, kneeling down in front of me, talking to my belly as he felt her kick.
"She loves when you talk to her."
"How do you know?"
"She always kicks like crazy when you do."
"Aw. But does it hurt?"
"No. It's not a bad kick. She just likes to tell you she likes when you talk to her. It's her way of showing you."
He kissed my belly and stood up. He grabbed my waist and pulled me into his chest, wrapping his arms around my shoulders, "I love you Mitchy."
"I love you too Scotty."
