Peaceful Afternoon

~Aera's POV~

I gathered all the ingredients for cooking. Suddenly I saw Taehyun resting his body against the fridge and looking at me.

Aera : what are you doing here? Watch TV...

Taehyun : I can't see you in the TV,
Can I?

Can you stop? I'm literally panicking now that I might burn the entire house while shaking!!

Aera : ..........Then stay.....

Taehyun : That's what I'm gonna do.

I was focusing on cooking and he watched me the whole time. He even wanted to help, but I refused saying that my battery is dead and I can't call fire service!
He even got excited sometimes watching me cook if possible!

Finally I was done. I placed all the dishes on the table. We sat down to eat.

Taehyun : I knew it. You're a good Cook!

He happily exclaimed while eating mouthful like a baby.

Aera : How did you know?

Taehyun : The brownies~~

Aera : But they are different!!!

Taehyun : Whatever. And it doesn't matter whether you explain or not. I won't understand a thing.

I just laughed. I was really satisfied to see him eating well.

After we were done, he helped me doing the dishes with me.

Now both of us were sitting on the couch.

Taehyun : So. How do you feel?

Aera : About?

Taehyun : Graduation..?!

Aera : Feels like a marathon just ended!

He laughed a little. Then it was silent.

Aera : What did you have to do here today?

Taehyun : Congratulate you!

So he came here for me? And what did I think?

Aera : ....Thanks....

Taehyun : I'm the one to say this! Thanks for inviting me.

I smiled.

Taehyun : Kai and Amy are doing great right?

Aera : Yeah, they go out together a lot these days.

Taehyun : Hm...Kai finally became a man!

Aera : What was he back then?! You sound weird hahaha.

My phone started to ring. It was Amy and I picked it up.

~On the Phone~

"Unnie I'll be home late. Don't worry, Oppa will walk me home."

"Oh, okay."

Suddenly Taehyun sneezed.

"Who's that?"

I was about to answer that it was Zenna, cause Amy's sure gonna tease me if she knows Taehyun came over. But Taehyun was fast.

"It's me Amy, Taehyun."

" Oppa?!!! He's at her place!!!!!"

Maybe she was telling that to Kai. Kai's voice could also be heard,

" Taehyunnie~"

" Yeah?"

"Ouuhhh, So much things happening without letting us know huh~~"
