Chapter 2

"PETRA!!!"

"Well I'm in so, so, so much trouble..."

Petra turned around to face a very angry Lukas and a slightly less angry Jesse.

"Where were you? The gang was so worried!!!" Lukas scolded.

"Lukas, I'm fine see." Petra answered back.

But Lukas wasn't buying it. "Let's just take you to the infirmary, to properly examine you."

"Lukas! Didn't you hear what I said? I'M FINE!"

"Well then, where in the world is your sword!?!"

"..."

"Well?"

"Lukas, pls don't tell this to Ivor. I may have accidently dropped it off a cliff..."

"..."

"..."

"Ivor is so going to kill you Petra." Jesse interjected shaking his head.

"So don't say anything to him!!"

"Why would you not say anything to me?" A new voice popped out.

Ivor calmly headed towards the 3 with a confused expression. "Petra, there you are!!" he exclaimed. "We were about to send a search team for you-," Ivor stopped in his sentence when he noticed something missing from Petra. His voice suddenly became deathly slow "Petra....where is your sword?..." Petra gulped before saying in a shaking voice "I lost it..."

"..."

"..."

(Please stand by because a very angry adult is now unable to control what is he about to say...)

It took approximately an hour to calm down Ivor. Ever since the apocalypse started, it has been really hard, both physically and mentally, around Beacontown. Many lost their friends and families to the virus. The infected just came suddenly without any warning. They are fortunate Beacontown is still standing, because other towns, villages and cities aren't as lucky as they are.

Ivor, Lukas, Jesse and Petra continued to make their way through Beacontown. They made many renovations in town. Their food supplies were mostly from their own crops. The animals they kept aren't killed for meat, unless necessary. The cows provided milk, the chickens-eggs, and the sheep-wool.

They soon arrived at the Order's temple. Petra, after plenty of convincing by not only Lukas and Ivor, but also Ellegaard, Magnus, and Gabriel, was convinced to go to the infirmary. They have all heard that she went out with barely any protection, and all are now scolding her. So a defeated Petra was taken to the infirmary for examination and quarantine.

Jesse entered the temple alongside the old and new orders, save for Petra, Olivia and Axel. Olivia and Axel are both too tired with their inventory responsibilities to scold Petra, and went to sleep early. It was nearly dark and no one wants to stay up late at night, not with the infected running around, groaning and growling. Jesse, Lukas and Ivor bade each other goodnight before going to their respective rooms. Jesse understood why Lukas and the rest of the old orders were always the first to scold Petra for her reckless behavior and decisions. It was only last month when they lost Aiden, Maya, Gill and Soren.
