For the past few weeks, my attempts at getting to know Mr. Park failed, miserably. I didnt know it would be this hard to get to know someone.

Frustrated, I decided to get some snacks to the convenience store. As I exit the store, I heard a familiar voice calling out to me.

"Its late, what are you doing outside?"

With a heart thumping and my face hot, "Snacks" I replied.

"I'll take you home"

Without waiting for my reply, he started walking towards my place. I tailed behind him.

"Do you wanna get coffee? my treat" he offered.

I was more than happy to accept his offer. I nodded.

We sat in the nearby bench. None of us talk. But just his presence makes me happy.

"How you doing these days?" He asked breaking the silence.

"I mean, moving to a different country must be hard, I guess"

"Sometimes. But I can adjust. Thanks for asking"

"How's school?"

"Good"

"I never saw you with the other student. Is there something going on with your classmate?"

"No, its just that, I, I want to be alone"

"Arent you lonely?"

His eyes stared right into mine. Its feels as if he's staring right into my soul.

I gave him a small smile.

"I'm good"

He stood up.

"Well, if you have a problem, you can always come to me. I'll always be there for you"

"Is that a promise?"

He bent down to my level and said, "Yes, its a promise"

If I were alone, I would've jumped out of joy. But I'm not alone, so I tried my best to hide my grin.

"Well then, be prepared"

A huge grin plastered his face. To be honest, I've never seen him like that, not even in school. I feel like, we're getting closer than before. Maybe its just my imagination, but still, I like it.

When we reached my place, before going, he caressed my cheeks gently.

"Good night" he whispered.

I swear my heart stop beating at that moment. The place he touched is burning hot. I'm falling for him more and more, and so does the fear.

When Jinyoung finally reached his home. He reflected on what he did.

Part of him liked the new change, but part of him was still attatched to his old memories.

He knew that wasnt supposed to happen. He knew what the consequence would be. He knew.

But he just couldnt stop himself.

"I wasnt supposed to do that" he kept whispering to himself.
