Today, instead of going back to by grandma, I head home.

The house was quite as usual. I headed to their rooms, luckily they were there.

They both looked surprised seeing me so sudden.

"Mr. Song, can I talk to my mom, in private?" I request.

"Yeah. Of course. Of course" he stood up.

"I'm glad you came back home" he said and shut the door behind him.

"I want to apologize for venting out my anger at you. And running away from home and not contacting you" I apologized.

"I'm sorry too. It must be hard for you"

"Shall we sit down while we talk?"

"Yes. Sure" she said wiping her tears.

"Look Mom, I really hate it that we had to move to Korea. I know its where you're from, and you must missed it, but every memories of Dad is with me, with us back in the States. But now, I really love it here. And I have a reason to stay now. So, I really dont want to move. I want to stay here"

I finally said it. I felt so relieved. Like a heavy weight had been lifted off me.

Mom was silent for a moment.

"I really miss your Dad too. I thought moving back to the States will be better for you. I thought you hated here. I thought you still..hated me"

"Mom, you're wrong. I was mad at you, but I could never hate you"

She pulled me in a tight hug. I dont even remember the last time we did that. It felt so good.

"Honey, dont worry about moving anymore. Your father..." "I mean Mr. Song" she corrected herself.

"I really dont mind calling him father" I assured her.

She was smiling and crying at the same time.

"We decided to stay here to in Korea. We wont be moving anymore. Unless you want to" she said. I was so happy. I dont have to worry about not being able to see him anymore.

We talked the entire evening. I never really had a good talk with Mom. Maybe this is a first.Since I was a child, I was always attached to my Dad. I rarely spent time with Mom. So this a great change.

I called Jinyoung several times to tell him the good news. But he didnt answer any of my calls. So I decided to tell him tomorrow.

I waited for him in the gate after school. He was late. Really late. It was already dark but he still hadnt come out.

I was about to call him again when I saw his silhoutte. I tried calling out to him but didnt when I noticed another person beside him.

A woman. A woman was with him. And she looked familiar.

When he noticed me, he called out to me. The woman followed him behind.

"What are you doing here? Its already late"

"I had something to do"

"Come on. I'll take you home"

"But..."

"Jinyoung, are you not going to introduce her. Thats reay rude you know" the girl spoke up.

She walked up to me.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sooyoung"

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Rose"

"Rose? That's a nice name. A nice name for a beautiful girl" she said smiling.

When she smiled, I finally remembered her. Its the girl from the photo.

She was really pretty, and she seemed sweet. Her voice is so smooth too.

"I should get going now. It was nice to meet you again Jinyoung, and you too Rose" she waved and got in the car and drove off.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"No one" he answered bluntly.

I thought its best to not asked furthur. The walk home was uncomfortably quite.

"Goodnight" he said and leave, without saying anymore.

According to Mark, that girl left Jinyoung for another man. Then why is she suddenly showing up now. Whats her intention? To get him back? If she tried to do that, will he leave me to be with her? Does he really love me?

All these negative thoughts kept flowing in my head and I really hate it.

I love him, and I dont want to lose him.
