I need to purge myself of all this Karin hate.

If you hate Karin, I'm sorry but I'm not going to accept your comments–because i literally love Karin and I do not want to hear any shit. Go hate on the Sasukarin chapter or whatever if you really feel like being edgy mc edgeston.

Honestly, I used to be an 11 year old fangirl who only knew Teen fic Movies and Fanfictions where the girl who was the second love interest and "rival" was seen as the obnoxious, slutty bitch in the story.

So I knew that when I first saw Karin I saw her through the eyes of a hater. Because that's the society we grew up in 🗿 hate the one that isn't a wallflower.

But as I grew older and became a wonderful hoe (my momma would be so proud) and I experienced being classified  and attacked for the "slut" or "bitch" and being the evil one in an over repetitive love story...I began to see Karin in a different light. I began to see everyone in a different light.

Most of the people who hate Karin are either a bunch of teens who think that the love rival is designated to be a bitch, or they just thought Karin rubbed them off the wrong way (which is fine. Not everyone can be your cup of tea).

I already know what you want to say about Karin.

1) karin is a slut

That's slut shaming and slut shaming is disgusting and fucking rude. Girl didn't even sleep with anybody she was just thirsty for my homeboy Sasuke.

And who isn't?

Just because Sakura was all purity and shit doesn't mean that she didn't lust after Sasuke too betty 💀

3. Karin lacks character

Uhm, newsflash, all of the female characters in Naruto are badly written.

And frankly, along with Ino and Tsunade, I think Karin is one of the best written female characters in Naruto.

Sure, she came in without us knowing much about her–but that's good writing. The more we got to see of her the more layers of her we got to see.

Her personality is a great duality. She's sweet and caring, but also brash and not afraid to speak her mind. Her past is the saddest shit ever, but I just see it as something that made her strong.

4. Karin is selfish

5. Karin's past is filler

You know what else is filler? That entire Konoha wedding ship shit. Details of kakashi's ANBU past. Anything involving Tenten. Half of the shit about Hinata. Anything involving Hanabi.

Also, according to the manga Karin's past is that her village (which is Uzishiogakure or something) was destroyed. But also according to the manga, The village was destroyed long before Karin was born (while Kushina was alive).

I personally take Karin's past to be canon (and if you don't then that's fine) because her "canon" past doesn't match up with the timeline (and trust me, because of my books I've studied them timelines like a madwoman)
