Chapter 13: Marked

Lilifrets POV:

Emerson got up and told me he'd be right back. I didn't want him to leave.

I scooted towards Seven not knowing anyone else. I was staring at my muffin when I felt someone touch me.

It was too rough to be Emerson. My head snapped up.

Some guy was touching my leg. I think it might have been the same guy that grabbed me before.

I looked at Seven with scared eyes.

"Hey don't touch her she's not your mate," Seven said.

"Not yours either," he said back.

Grabbing both of my knees he started slowly spreading them apart,"Wana have a little fun with me cutie."

Tears welled up in my eyes and I tried shoving him away and shaking my head no.

Emersons POV

My dad was telling me about some crap that I didn't care about. 

"Okay dad I got it."

Turning to go back I heard Seven yelling.

I got to the living room to see Liam spreading Lily my mates legs apart. He was saying nasty shit as she tried pushing him off. Seven was screaming at him to knock it off.

I growled viciously and they both stopped.

"Mine!" I said it in a feral growl ripping through the air thick with tension.

Liam's eyes went wide and he let go off Lily. She instantly turned to look at me and bolted into my arms.

She cried into my bare chest and I held her. He'd already be dead but Lily was in my arms.

Pulling her up on my hip, I glared at Liam. He had his head down.

Walking up to him everyone watched,"If you ever touch her again you wont have hands or arms for that matter."

He nodded.

"Do you understand me!"

"Yes Emerson," Liam said.

"Good now get out."

He quickly ran out of the room.

Sitting down on the couch I lifted Lily's head up,"I promise I won't let him touch you ever again okay."

She nodded and I wiped her tears away.

Kissing her forehead I kissed her cheek then the other cheek. When I went to kiss her lips she pushed me away.

"Rejected!" Jessy chuckled.

"Shut up!" I punched him.

Jessy looked over at Lily saying,"Hi my names Jessy."

Lily was looking at her crushed muffin.

"My names Jessy" he repeated.

Lily just stared at the the muffin.

Jessy gave me a look and I was about to tell him she was deaf when Seven interrupted.

"She's got a little problem."

"She has no problem she's perfect. She's only deaf," I tried not to yell.

Lily look at me the pointed at the muffin with a sad face.

"I'll get you another okay."

She nodded.

Lily turned her head and looked at Jessy. Pointing at him she shrugged her shoulders.
