It was night time at U.A. High. It was quiet in the 1B Dorms. Tsuburaba, Kaibara, Awase, and Rin were all laying around on their phones when Tsuburaba got an idea.
Tsuburaba: You guys wanna play smash?
Kaibara: Smash Bros?
Awase: Yeah that sounds fun!
Rin: What's a smash bros?
Tsuburaba: It's a fighting game made by Nintendo with tons of different characters from the Nintendo universe!
Awase: Dude, it's super popular, how have you not heard of it?
Rin: I never played video games much as a kid. Sure, I'd be willing to try it out, sounds fun!
Tsuburaba: Great!
Tsuburaba powers on his Nintendo Switch and hands a Joycon to each person
Awase: I want blue!
Kaibara: I call Grey
Rin: I'll take Yellow.
Tsuburaba: Cool, I got Orange!
Rin: Hey guys, your joy-con colors match what you're wearing.
The Three boys looked down simultaneously
Rin: Was that intentional?
Kaibara and Awase: Yes, Yes it was.
Tsuburaba made his way to the menus and turned off all items
Rin: Why are you doing that?
Kaibara: Items break the game
Awase: Rin, it's just fair to have a good old classic battle without items. They can be very powerful and unfair at points. Most players disable them as well, not just us.
Rin: Ahh, I see.
Tsuburaba: I HATE THAT HAMMER
The boys finally got to the stage select screen
Awase: 75MM!!
Tsuburaba: NO
Kaibara: New Donk City?
Tsuburaba: NO
Rin: The first one?
Tsuburaba: NO
Kaibara: Are you gonna let us choose anything?
Tsuburaba: FINE! Battlefield it is!
Kaibara: That's not what I mea-
Tsuburaba: SHUT UP!
The boys are now at the character selection screen
Awase: I got Roy!
Kaibara: Eww, you main Roy?
Awase: Yeah so what? Let's see your main.
Kaibara chooses Richter
Awase: What the hell is that? Richter!?
Kaibara: Shut up headband
Awase: LEAVE MY HEADBAND OUT OF THIS!
Tsuburaba: I'll choose Ken!
Kaibara: Ugh, another fucking Ken main
Awase: Are you gonna commentate negatively on everyone's pick?
Kaibara rolls his eyes
Rin: I got this giant green alligator dude.
Tsuburaba: K. Rool?
Rin: Yeah him.
Awase: Cool, ready guys?
Everyone nods
Awase: Nice, let's have a fair and good game guys!
Rin: Thanks man!
Kaibara: Sure
Tsuburaba: IM GONNA TAKE YOU ALL OUT!!!
The match plays on like any smash match between friends. Rin is the one to be picked off first (besides him falling off the cliff twice, he was picked once by Kaibara)
Rin: Wait, where did my character go?
Awase: You died. Your three lives are gone.
Rin: Darn, this game is hard man.
Rin proceeds to lay on a pillow with his hand behind his neck with the most annoyed look of all time. His knee is on Kaibara chest
Tsuburaba: SEN FUCK OFF WITH YOUR STUPID AXE
Kaibara giggling: Come here bro, let me axe you a question
Awase: Dude...
The game carries on. Awase is out of the game, he was dealt a finishing blow from Tsuburaba.
Tsuburaba: Die Marth.
Awase: I was playing Roy...
Tsuburaba: Whatever, they're all the same anyways.
Awase: Not really...
This was it. Tsuburaba and Kaibara were both sweating. They were both on one life each. Kaibara tried throwing an axe and grabbing Tsuburaba with his whip but he blocked it and sent him flying, but it didn't knock Kaibara out of bounds. He was attempting to get back to the stage when Tsuburaba down smashed him into the void, securing Tsuburaba the Victory!
Tsuburaba: I TOLD YOU I WOULD WIN! WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?
Kaibara: Whatever dude, you got lucky with that block.
Awase: Congrats Tsuburaba!
Rin: Yeah, Congrats dude!
Tsuburaba: Thanks guys, up for another?
Awase: It's getting late dude. We should go to bed. We got class in the morning.
Rin: True.
Kaibara: Yeah I'm gonna hit the hay, see you guys in the morning.
Tsuburaba: Fair point, fine. Good game guys!
Everyone: Good Game!
