Chapter 6. Part 1.

"Alright class, can you settle down. I have a little announcement to make." Your homeroom teacher announced as she placed her things down on her desk.

Everyone slowly returned to their seats, wondering what was so important their teacher had to tell them. It had been after the lunch break and you were conversing with Yamaguchi on how he could improve on his float serve while Tsukishima took a short nap.

"Tsukishima-san, can you wake up?" Your homeroom teacher said as everyone turned their attention to the sleeping blonde.

"..."

Yukino-sensei was met with quiet snores. The reason why Tsukishima wasn't waking up is that his music was loud to block out everyone.

You giggled as Yukino-sensei approached tsukishima, getting very impatient. You watched either a wide smile on your face as your teacher snatched his headphones and shouted in his ear.

"TSUKISHIMA KEI! YOU BETTER WAKE UP!"

Upon having his teacher scream in his ear, tsukishima jumped as he glanced around in confusion, his glasses looking so crooked on the face. You couldn't contain yourself any longer, you let out a really loud laugh as everyone else joined in. After all, it's not like the smartest student in the class to get in trouble. At this point, you were on the ground laughing as you caught a light blush settle onto tsukishima's face. He glared at you as you stopped laughing.

"Well someone's in trouble."

Tsukishima wanted to bark back at you when Yukino-sensei spoke up. "If I hear one more laugh everyone will clean up the gym after school."

All the students suddenly turned pale at their teacher's threat and immediately faced the front of the class, no one dared to speak a word, afraid to feel the wrath of their teacher. Yukino-sensei turned her attention back to tsukishima once more.

"Tsukishima-san, you're staying back to clean up the classroom."

"I can't, I got volleyball training." Tsukishima tried to protest, feeling a bit anxious that he had to miss out on practice.

"When have you ever cared for volleyball." Tsukishima glared at you when you muttered under your breath.

Bad luck for you, Yukino-sensei heard your remark and decided you both should serve out the same punishment.

"Since ukai-san seems so involved with Tsukishima-san she can clean the classroom as well."

"But sensei, I can't because I'm coaching today."

"You both can go where you need to go after you've cleaned up. The faster you clean, the faster you finish. End of discussion."

(Your Bestfriend) looked at you with pity in her eyes as you slouched back into the chair. Your brother is going to murder you when he finds out why you're going to be late for volleyball. Tsukishima just gave you a smirk.

"That's what you get for laughing at me. You deserve it after all."

You turned to glare at the blonde Megane.

"Shut it, string bean."

At this point, there was a full-on staring war between you and the blonde. Meanwhile, your teacher was finding amusement out of this. Sometimes, Yukino never understood why the two smartest teenagers in her class act like a couple of five-year-olds. It will forever remain a mystery to her and to everyone else.

"If the two love birds are done staring at each other, I can proceed with my announcement."

"What? As if I'd like this string bean."
