Chapter 12. Part 2.

"Nice, receive!"

Your (eye colour) eyes followed the volleyball which had been tossed to Tanaka instead of Hinata, as the second year spiked the ball over the net, scoring a point. You stood next to Kiyoko as you took mental notes. You glanced up to see Kageyama raise his hands letting out a loud 'slap' as the ball headed spiker high fives the younger setter.

You laughed at the blueberry setter who never failed to amuse you with his social awkwardness. You turned your focus back to the game itself, your eyes following every single player's movement closely, mentally taking notes. The boy's volleyball is currently having a practice match with each other. As their assistant coach, you were really determined to note down every single flaw and perfection.

After what happened with Aoba johsai you were ready to up your game. No one would know what hit them.

'There we go, this would give Hinata more time in the air.' You thought to yourself. Suddenly from the corner of your eyes, something caught your attention. You glanced up to Tsukishima doing a feint, getting past Kageyama's and Hinata's block. Your (eye colour) eyes sparkled in delight, never failed to be impressed by the tall blonde.

"It's funny how you keep falling for that," Tsukishima smirked at the duo who had to look up at him. However he wasn't too focused on his teammates, he was focused on a certain (hair colour)-haired female for some unknown reason, tsukishima had to look cool in front of you.

He wasn't disappointed by the look on your face. Your (eye colour) eyes were glimmering in awe as your face lit up like a child who discovered candy for the first time, the sight before him causing his heart to start racing faster and faster. The middle blocker looked down at his chest in confusion, a frown laid upon his face. Tsukishima was starting to feel a bit confused about his feelings towards you, part of him wanted to distance himself away from just in case you try to leave again, but some part of him wanted to run over to you and hug you.

Tsukishima had started to become a little less affectionate. He usually waits for you to hug him. It feels like forever since you last hugged him and it's killing him.

You looked at the tall first year in awe which had shifted to confusion as you saw the frown upon his face. 'Is he okay?' You thought to yourself, you were starting to feel a bit worried for the blonde. You were deep in thought that you didn't notice you were staring at him until you saw the look of surprise on his face. You two couldn't take your eyes off of each other, not really caring what was happening around you.

You noticed that tsukishima had become distant, he always waits for you to hug him even then he doesn't put in any effort, you were starting to lose hope in there even anything between you two.

The blow of a whistle broke you and Tsukishima out of your thoughts. Both your eyes widen before a blush settles on both faces. Tsukishima eyebrows furrowed in annoyance. Was he annoyed with you? Now was not the time. After all, Tsukishima was in the middle of a match. He can deal with you later.

You let out a disappointed sigh before facing Kiyoko, about to discuss with her about what's going on when the third year gives you a look you can't read. You tilted your head to the side, a confused look on your face as you asked. "Senpai, are you alright? You seem a bit off."

Kiyoko shook her head with a smile as she replied to you. "I'm fine. I was just observing the way you looked at Tsukishima."

At the mention of the beanpole, you began to feel all giddy inside. "I just can't help it, he always impresses me. I mean his improvement has gotten heaps better."

You kept going on and on about how amazing tsukishima is that you didn't realise that everyone had stopped their match. Kiyoko gently tapped you on your shoulder. "(Name)-chan, everyone's looking at you."
