Chapter 9. Part 1.

"(Name)-chan?"

You were looking through your notebook when you heard a voice you hadn't heard in a while. You whipped your head around to see a familiar spiky-haired male.

"No way, iwa-Kun? Is that really you?"

You stood in awe when you saw Imaizumi walk over to you. When you made sure that it was your childhood Bestfriend, you jumped on him and gave him a big hug. You were really excited to see him; it had been years since you last saw him.

"(Name)-chan, how do you know the ace?" Hinata shouted in surprise, as the rest of karasuno turned to face you.

You tilt your head a bit getting ready to explain feeling a little bit confused. "Why wouldn't I? He's my childhood Best Friend. I don't really see the problem."

Before any of the karasuno's boys could answer you, one of the most annoying voices interrupted you. Let's just say you'd rather be around the tall blonde then be with the owner to this annoying voice.

"(Name)-chan is that you? Long time no see!"

You let out a groan, feeling so stupid. How did you not see this coming wherever Imaizumi was so was Oikawa. He always annoyed you as a child but you learnt to put up with it if you wanted to spend so much time with Imaizumi. You plastered a fake smile on your face and turned around to face the annoying captain.

"Shittykawa, oh how I've longed to see you."

"(Name)-chan why are you so mean to me? Iwa-chan, (name)-chan hates me."

You just ignored Oikawa who was in a corner muttering about how his childhood friends hate him, you faced iwaizumi. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We're participating in the inter-high prelims, our match doesn't start until later."

You nodded your head before turning to your brother to ask if you could hang out with iwaizumi and Oikawa for a bit, his eyes not leaving his clipboard when he responded to you. "Go ahead just be back before the second set starts."

"Thank you nii-chan! I love you!" You hugged your brother as a huge smile appeared on your face. You were about to go off with Iwaizumi and Oikawa when Tsukishima turned you towards him.

He pulled you in for a very gentle yet tight hug. "Stay safe for us. If any of those douchebags try anything, you have my number give me a call. I'll come to you even if I'm in the middle of a match." I could hear the worry in his voice, I returned his hug, I felt safe in his arms, I could hear his heartbeat and it was very soothing. Before you left Tsukishima he put his jacket on you so you wouldn't freeze, the real reason was he just wanted you to have something that reminds you of him.

The karasuno boy's eyes followed after the duo as you approached them. You felt iwaizumi pull you into a little side hug, it felt weird having him hug you. It's nothing like tsukishima's hugs.

You met the rest of Aoba Johsai who were just watching other matches. They watched you in amusement who was trying to defend yourself against Oikawa who was just trying desperately to give you a hug, it got so bad Iwaizumi had to step in.

First Nekoma, now Aoba johsai. How many volleyball teams are you friends with?

"Hey everyone, I'm Ukai (name). It's a pleasure to meet you."

You bowed as you introduced yourself to the rest of the team. The volleyball players' cheeks were tinted pink at the adorable smile you gave them, thinking how cute you really are. Oikawa noticed how his team was looking at you and jealousy grew deep inside of him. He placed an arm around you.
