Chapter nine: ♥Judgemental♥

Daniel's POV

I woke up today to the video posted on our school's WhatsApp group. I still couldn't believe Anna had sex with James.

James of all people. I was so angry and irritated when I got to school this morning that I ignored some of my friends greetings.

You must be surprised that I now have many friends. Yes, I started having friends immediately I was announced as part of the venom cult but greth is still the best friend.

I walked to my locker and started shoving my stuffs inside deciding not to attend the cult's meeting that always takes place at Evan's locker.

I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned to see greth. 'What do you want?' I asked him not missing the pitiful look he gave me.

'Hey buddy' he said choosing to ignore my rude talk. There was an awkward silence for a while then he said. ' I saw it'. 'What?' I asked deciding to stall.

'don't pretend you didn't see it. That's the reason for the sour mood isn't it?'. He asked.

'I don't know what you're talking about'. I said.
He raised an eyebrow and narrowed his eyes.

That lasted for about 5 seconds before I snapped.
' OK, fine I saw it'. I admitted.

He sighed. 'You shouldn't blame her you know that right? You shouldn't judge since you haven't heard what she has to
..'.

'What the hell does she have to say'. I shouted.

'You saw the video, she wasn't drugged and it looked like she was enjoying it'. I screamed.

'you really should stop behaving immature. I know you've had a crush on her since forever but that doesn't give you the right to her. Tf are you saying? Huh? The girl probably doesn't even know you have a thing on her and here you are getting all worked up cause of a leaked video of her'. Greth shouted back.

'you just don't get'. I managed to say through heavy breaths.

Greth sighed and looked away.
'I never knew you to be the judgemental type Daniel. I'm really disappointed in you. Just give her a chance to explain.

You've known her since fifth grade and even though she only goes after the bad guys you know she isn't a bad girl.

Maybe she had sex with him intentionally and maybe she didn't I'm sure she's regretting it right now. You should let her explain herself and maybe forgive her' he said.

'Bye Daniel' he said and turned to leave.

I knew deep down that what he said was right. I was being judgemental and my feelings for her clouded my good judgement.

I really should hear what she has to say.
I turned to go to class and heard some commotions down the hall I followed the noise down to where Anne's locker was.

I saw Emily talking to Anne and from where I stood I couldn't hear what she was saying but I knew it was probably about the leaked video.

I moved to go tell her off when Emily moved along and Anne darted off towards the restroom.

I sighed and headed back to class. Greth was right I should hear what she has to say.

I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into ivy smith .

Ivy smith is Evan's twin sister, unlike Evan she's gentle, quiet and smart.

I've never paid much attention to her mostly because I rarely see her she's always in the library but up close she looks like an angel. I never knew she was that beautiful.

I forced my mind back to the more pressing case but I found my mind going back to her beautiful face.

She just picked up her books that fell and without looking at me, hurried off.

I sighed and decided to get over whatever I have for her before it even started. Because firstly I have Anna's case to look into and secondly Ivy's twin brother is Evan and he can be called the devil himself.

And I heard he's protective of his sister and that's why no one messes with her and she doesn't have any friend.

So I entered my class with one thing in mind and that is to help Anna with whatever she's gonna face and getting revenge on James while doing that.

I know James is an asshole and I hope he gets what he deserves😠.
