Chapter seventeen: ♥fire inside her♥

Daniel's POV.

I got on my bike and rode to Evan's house. I kept wondering what I'd say when I see ivy.

Now that she knows how I feel about her. Will she shy away? I'm sure that's what she'll do.

Do I need to ask her myself or just leave the job to Evan?

Arrg....why can't life be easier.

I made up my mind to ask Evan to help me out.

I got to his house in no time and the gateman opened the gate. I nodded to the body guards standing at both sides of the door.

They both had protection all the time given that their dad was a politician.

Not that they needed any. Evan was man enough to take care of his sister.

I entered into their house and headed straight for Evan's room completing avoiding the sitting room where Evan said Ivy was.

I entered his room without knocking. Yeah we've become that close and caught him staring at something.

'Hi-'.

He quickly hid the thing at his back.

He saw I was the one and shot me a look then he moved to put the thing in his bedside table when I attacked him.

I launched myself at him and snatched the thing from his hands then ran into the bathroom and shut the door.

'Daniel--hand that thing over now'.

'Calm down buddy I will--after I've taken a look at what it is'.

'No do not, don't you know what privacy is?'.

'Of course I know but for now fuck privacy I'm checking this stuff out'.

I heard him groan. 'I'm getting back at you for this'.

I chuckled.

I looked at the thing in my hand. It was a picture and on turning it over I found it to be Lee's picture.

A heart was drawn over her face and I turned it to the back where I saw.

I bursted out laughing. 'I should have known'.

I turned the lock and got out only to be tackled by Evan.

He threw me on his bed and we rolled around hitting each other with pillows.

'I hate you. I fucking hate you'. He kept chanting while I was laughing wildly.

'Come on, I think it's time you admit to the girl that you're head over heels in love with her'.

'You bitch'. He screeched.

My laugh was cut off with the sound of the door opening.

I looked back to see Ivy standing at the door.

'Oh shit'.

I looked at Evan and saw the awkward position I was in. I was sitting on top of her brother who was laughing like a maniac.

'Uh- hi- Ivy'.

She stared at me for a while before coming into the room and dragging me off the bed.

'Wha--'.

She pulled me down the stairs to her room and took her phone.

'I'm going to call Anne and you're going to apologize to her now do you hear me?'.
