Chapter twenty nine: A death

Anne's POV.

'They don't care about my feelings, they don't care how I feel. All they care about is their selves and how to protect their stupid image'.

'Shush, calm down baby'.

'I can't. Did you hear what they said? They said I can not..'. I bursted into tears again unable to complete the sentence.

'Calm down babe, It'll be alright, once they see you truly love each other they'll have no other choice than to let you make your decision'.

I gradually stopped crying,believing everything Anna said.

'What did mom mean when she said should be like you? Are you dating someone?'.

She blushed and it was an usual sight.

'Yes'.

'Oh, who's the lucky guy?'. I wiggled my eyebrows making her blush deeply.

'M-mike'.

'Mike?'.

'Yep, James brother'. She said looking happy but the expression dripped quickly.
'I'm really sorry, I know what he did to you was very wrong and it is extraordinarily wring for me your sister to date his brother but I just couldn't control myself around him..I'm very so--'.

'Calm your balls down sis, I'm not angry in fact I'm happy for you'.

She hugged me tightly before releasing me.

'Let's get your mind from all these and have fun'. She said dragging me to my closet she pulled out a light blue crop top and a dark jeans and handed it over to me.

'Meet me down in 5 minutes'. She said before closing the door to my room.

I sighed and tried not to let my mind wander back to my troubles. I was going to have fun and forget all these.

I quickly put on the clothes Anna picked and put in on. I packed my hair into a high ponytail and slid on my favorite dark sneakers and hurried downstairs only to meet Anna waiting for me with a raised eyebrow. How she did it I do not know?

'5 minutes?'. She asked with a narrowed glance.

'Sorry, not everyone is like flash while dressing up'.

'Bah, just let's go'. She said and grabbed her hand bag off the floor.

We headed hands in hands outside.

'Wow'. I said with a slacked jaw.
The mansion where Anna took me was very beautiful and probably bigger than my parent's. It had light everywhere even on the gates.

'Whose house is this?'.

'Mike's parent's'.

'Oh'. I started to feel reluctant. What if I saw James? It sure would be awkward.

'Look Anna---'.

'He's not around'.

'Huh'.

'I confirmed it from mike. He told me that he went out with his gang'.

'Oh'.

'Come on. Don't let's keep him waiting'.

She led me towards the huge golden gates which opened with a immediately we stepped in front of it.

'Mike opened it with a remote'. Anna said.

She must know a lot about him already if she managed to know that.

'Come on, don't let's keep him waiting'. She said impatiently while pulling me past the gate.

I kept gawking at the house...scratch that mansion that spit almost spilled from my mouth,I kid you not.

Finally, we entered the gorgeous house and Mike immediately came to hug Anna. It was obvious he had been waiting.

They kept staring at each other so I had to clear my throat to get their attention.

'Hey mike'. I said shyly.

'Anne'. He said and reached our his hand, I took it and shook it trying not to to look deeply into his pretty brown eyes.

'I'm sorry for what my brother did to you, I assure you I knew nothing about it'.

'It's fine, really. I've forgiven him long ago'.

'Come on in'. He invited us into the large living room and told me to feel at home while him and Anna skipped of upstairs probably to his room to do...you know what'.

I thought it'd be very boring when I was alone but it wasn't because few minutes later someone opened the front door and entered, I raised my head to lock my eyes with James.

My heart skipped a beat then started pounding back at a ridiculous rate that I thought it would pop out of my chest.

He wore a black leather jeans paired with a black tee and black leather jacket he then completed the bad boy look with a black bandana on his head.

He looked surprised to see me that his mouth actually dropped.

I was the first to get over it and managed a greeting.

'Hi'. I said in a voice too high for my liking.

'Hi'. He said too unconsciously mimicking me then he noticed what he did and blushed.

'Uhm...what are you doing here?'.

'My sister came to visit your brother and she--'.

'Wait. Anna is inside?'.

'Yes'.

'Shit!'. He looked panicked and limped across the room heading to where I think the kitchen was situated.

Limped.

It was then I noticed something wrapped around his arm and squinting a bit I saw traces of blood, I gasped.

He heard and turned to look at me. Then seeing where my eyes landed he moved his arm away from my view.

'It's nothing'. He mumbled.

'How..what happened?'.

He turned one more time scrunching his face up at me and grumbled.

'The fight between the holos and us...it was bloody so I got few bruises'.

My heart kept up to my throat. 'W-what of others? D-did they injure badly?'.

He looked at me for a while before slowly nodding.

'D-did any d-d-die?'.

'Yes'.

'Oh My God'. I screamed.
