Old Face, New enemy?

What is she talking about?!why me? I know nothing about this weired code and know she wants me to be the one to "activate" it?! What if I do die?!

"What are you talking about?...me activate it thats imposible!...."

Meiko was completely silent and Teto had nothing to say. When sudenly Meiko just laughed ot off.

"Ha ha! Ya what was I thinking?..."

Meiko got up and told us she had to go. I felt kind of guilty for what I said, but why should it be me. Last time I checked I don't remember being apart of any of this, so why do I feel so lousy? But sudenly Meiko called out to us. When we went to go see it was Gumi!

"Rin!!!! I finally found you!!!"

Gumi quickly jumped to me and hugged me.

"G-Gumi! Were have you bin? Ive allso bin looking for you!"

"He he! But I found you first!"

Gumi was giving me a goofy smile when Teto came to see Gumi. But the moment Gumi herd Tetos voice she quickly froze and started to shake a little.

"Whats the matter Gumi?"

*sigh* "I geuss shes really afraid of me then..."

"Eh? Why?"

"Who knows..."

Teto tried getting closer to Gumi but she quickly ran and hid behind me.

"G-go away you monster!"

"Tsk! What you call me you green haired runt?!I'll crush your skull in!!!"

And sudenly I realized why maybe Gumi was afraid of Teto. Gumi was still hiding behind me when Meiko came up to Gumi.

"Eh? So your Gumi? Hehe your really cute you know!"

Gumi was embraced, and then asked who she was. And I told her that Meiko was a friend of mine and Meiko seemed suprised by that but happy at the same time. But for some reason Gumi was quite about it.

"What's wrong? " I asked

"Shes..your freind?....."

"Ya...."

"And what about the red head?...."

"Teto? Why shes my freind too!"

She was really quite when she sudenly she backed away.

"No!"

"What? whats wrong?"

"She can't be your freind no one can be!! I found you first!!!!!"

"What are you talking about?!"

Gumi was acting weird and I had no idea why and to be honest she was starting to freak me out a little. But she then quickly walked back to me and grabbed my hand.

"Ne! Rin lets go!! You don't need anybody else when we have each other! Only I should be your freind right!?"

She's really starting to creep me out. When suddenly I herd a similar voice and someone broke right through the door trying to hit Meiko. But Meiko quickly dodged the attack as her boots skid against the wooden floor making a little screeching sound. She angrily turned to see that she had a small cut on her cheek.

"Tch!"

"Oops! I geuss I missed!"

"Dont underestimate me!!!!I was one of the top police officers of this town for 5 years!!"

"He he as expected from my sempai...."

As I finally got a good look it was Mayu!

"Mayu!?"

"Oh my my it seams you did sneek back in to this world Rin!....no matter I'll finally be able to get rid of you once and for all!!"

No way what is she doing her?! Mayu the girl who use to bully me at school was know hear?! And she had an axe with her!!! Is she freaking crazy or something?!

And sudenly Gumi turned to Mayu.

"No don't hurt her! Rin, shes my freind!"

"Ehh?! Really?! So that means I can't kill her?"

"Of corse you can't!!"

"But how about the other two?"

"....Them?....hmp! Do what you want with them I could care less...."

No way what happend to the sweet goofy girl I met that day? She seemed so different and distant this time...what was going on with her? And suddenly Teto grabbed me by my waist and Meiko jumped right out the window and Teto flew right out while carrying me.

"We gotta go!"

I looked down and saw that Meiko had landed on her feet with out any scratches, Amazing! She must be really skilled! I mean she just jumped out right through a galss window from the second floor! But as Teto flew away we were kicked right out of the air and fell on the floor. And I ended up scraping my knee a little. As I looked Gumi was running towards us along with Mayu right behind her. When sudenly Gumi stopped and saw that my knee was bleeding.

"RIN! Are you allright?!"

But I didn't want he getting close to me. I got a bad vibe from her and I ended up yelling at her to stay away from me.

"Eh? Rin wats a matter? Why are you upset with me?...."

"Im sorry but can you keep your distance from me....."

Gumi was completely shocked when I said that and she just stood there dumbfounded. She then started mumbling to her slef. And sudenly Meiko grabbed my hand and started to run as Teto followed behind us. When sudenly I herd Gumi yell at the top of her lungs and I took a quick glance to find something odd about her as she held her hands up to her head .

"RIN!!!!! IF I CANT BE YOUR FREIND THEN NO ONE CAN!!!!"

And next thing i knew I saw was some gaint scissors fly staright at us.

"WHAT THE HELL!!!!!"
