Part 8

The Next Morning I woke shaken up from the dream I had. I heard Lara screaming from upstairs and I quickly ran up there. I picked her up out of her crib and went over and sat in the rocking chair after changing her diaper. I fed Lara and took her downstairs to where Tayler was awake and sitting up on the couch.

"You ok? You look pale," Tayler asked and I nodded sitting down with Lara.

"Can you get me some water?" I asked and Tayler got up and went to the kitchen. I'm not gonna lie I did feel faint. He came back and passed me the water before sitting next to me. Tayler took Lara from me as I took a sip of water.

"Are you sure you're feeling ok?" Tayler asked and I nodded.

"I'm ok now," I said and looked at Tayler. He was holding Lara and you could tell he had just woken up.

"So is there anything to do today?" Tayler asked.

"I got to get some work done, so if you don't mind can you watch Lara for the day?" I asked and he smiled.

"Sure," Tayler said and I smiled.

"Thank you, if you need anything I'll be in the office," I say and get up from the couch.

"Ok I guess you could say I'm on Daddy duty today," Tayler joke and I shook my head.

"Don't ever say that again," I warned him.

"Uncle Duty?" He said and I giggled, shaking my head.

"Tayler Holder, you are something else," I Say and he stands up with Lara in his arms. He leaned down to kiss me and I kissed back.

"I'll be in the office," I said before walking away. I sat down in Jaden's office chair and looked around the room at all the pictures of us and Lara. I actually haven't been in here much. Jaden said I could always use the office when I needed to get stuff done for Griffin and today was the day. Griff had sent me multiple YouTube videos and pictures for Instagram that I needed to edit. After a couple of hours Tayler came in with Lara. I looked over at him and smiled.

"Hi baby," I said in baby ish voice and took Lara from him. She smiled as I sat her on my Lap.

"So what you working on?" Tayler asked, standing behind me.

"I'm Griffin's editor and I'm just finishing up this video," I said and looked up at him. He smiled and leaned down to kiss me. I smiled and just finished the video.

"So I'm gonna order something, is there anything specific you would want?" Tayler asked and I shook my head.

"Just ordered whatever while I put Lara down," I said and he nod before leaving the office. I send Griff the things I edited and headed upstairs to put Lara down for her nap. After putting her down I went into the living room. Tayler was on his phone ordering food I'm guessing. He didn't look up at me and I sat beside him. He smiled and still didn't look up from his phone. Jaden would do this so I'd sit on his lap, like I said I wasn't trying to get to comfortable with Tayler. My mind flashed back to the dream and I nearly screamed when Tayler placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Y/N, You ok?" Tayler asked and he could tell how shaken up I was. I nodded and he raised and eyebrow, questionably.

"Are you sure?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I just need a distraction," I said and he smirked.

"I'll give you a distraction," He said and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed back and climbed onto his lap. He gripped my waist and our tongues fault for dominance. He won and held my waist in place. We continued to make out and it seemed to never get old. He knew I couldn't do anything else but he still managed to make me moan into the kiss. He smirked and pulled away.

"That was hot," He said and I giggled in embarrassment. I got off his lap and stood up.

"I'm gonna go check on Lara," I said, making an excuse to kinda get away from him. Even in the heat of that kiss, It didn't feel right. He wasn't Jaden and I could really need him right now. Jaden would know how to make me feel  even if we were just making out. I could use one of his sappy I love you so much moments. I looked down at my phone as I got into the nursery. I dialed Jaden's number but it went to voicemail, he must be busy. So I left a message.

"Hey Babe, I'm sorry for calling in the middle of something but I really need to hear your voice right now, I just don't feel right without seeing you or hearing you, give me a call back as soon as you can," I say with a sigh.

"What was that?" Tayler asked from the doorway.

"I just really miss him right now, that's all," I said and he nodded.

"Is that why you were emotional downstairs?" Tayler asked and I nodded.

"Knowing Jaden is on the other side of the country is finally getting to me, we haven't been apart in so long and I guess I'm just paranoid that he'll do exactly what I'm doing to him right now," I said in almost a whisper.

"What are you talking about?" He questioned.

"Tayler we can't keep doing this, He's gonna be so mad when he finds out and I'm scared he's gonna do something stupid," I sighed and Tayler came over to me and I looked up at him.

"So you want to end this?" He asked and I nodded slowly.

"I'm sorry, you're a great guy but Jaden is down in Florida doing this for me and I love him so much," I say and feel the tears forming just thinking about Jaden. I hate being apart from him. Tayler nodded and smiled weakly.

"I get it you two are basically engaged and have a baby together, I had a great couple of days with you and Lara, I'll head out and you can call me if you need anything," Tayler said and I walked with him to the door.

"Bye Y/N," Tayler said and I hugged him.

"Bye Tayler," I said and he left. I locked the door and went back upstairs to the nursery. Lara was awake when I got in there.

"Hi baby," I said in a babyish voice and picked her up. I changed Lara and took her over to mine and Jaden's room for the rest of the night.
