There they were the 6 of them standing amidst the serene tall mountains..yes they were in Kodaikanal

The entire PS clan sans Moorthy and L amma of course..

A kutty flashback

Kathir and Mullai had attended the wedding and came back home happy..most of her friends were at the wedding..some of them who had not come to theirs had brought gifts along..couples watch the likes..but Mullai had gushed over a book that one of her friends had got

Mullai had opened the gift and her eyes had widened like saucers..she gaped and gasped...

Mullai : Pavi..she hugged her friend..unakku nyabagam irukka..hostel la evvalavu ithu koodaye time pass panni iruppom

They had gone off on a trip down memory lane..

Kathir had sat there completely bemused..he just didn't understand what the ruckus was about

They had gotten back home..

Kanna had loved the watch..

Kanna : anne anne ithu naan pottukkaren nne

Kathir : pottukko da unakku illathathaa?

Kanna had been happy

Moorthy and Dhanam had tried to stop him but they had not put their hearts into it..

In their room

Kathir: athu antha watch..naan romba use panna maatten..aana Kanna college porathaala maathi maathi use pannuvaan..athaan

Mullai : (smiled) puriyuthunga..enakku yaarum akka thangachinnu ille athunaala naan ithe paarthathu ille..aana puriyuthu..

Mullai had realised why Kathir was like this..he had a younger brother to pamper..and in pampering him he found so much joy that he forgot the need to keep anything for himself..but it didn't bother her

A few days later

When one day, a friend of Jeeva's had come home..he was working outside the country and was unable to attend the wedding and hence had come now..

He had invested in a resort in Kodaikanal and wanted to gift a couple of days of stay for Jeeva and Meena..

Moorthy wanted Kathir and Mullai also to join them...they would pay for the room..

But the next day Kanna had sulked about not being asked to join the trip

So finally it was decided that all 6 except Moorthy and Lakshmi Amma would go..everyone was thrilled to bits except..

Meena - she was livid that what was supposed to be her honeymoon with Jeeva was fast turning into a family tour..

Kathir - he was concerned how Moorthy would manage the shop and home alone..but Moorthy had insisted..truth be told he was also happy at the prospect of a few full days with her..but he was so used to assuming responsibility for the shop..that it was habitual for him to worry about the shop

Mullai's parents were requested to come and stay at their home..to take care of L amma

Mullai had packed for the both of them and crossing off things from a mental list
