The next 2 days the entire household was in a frenzy

On the one side they were getting ready for the purattasi pooja..on the other they were excited by the impending visitors...

The ribbing of Kathir continued..

The discussion continued...

For Mullai it was like she was caught in a whirlwind

She was fascinated..that someone else was so taken with her husband just like she was..In a macabre twist of the mind she could relate..she knew why..she understood the appeal..

Her mind went to the recent bike riding where he had taught her..off the top of her head she would first remember how strict he was..but if she were to dwell a little deeper..she would see the commitment, his care, first day she had waited but from the second day onwards he had always been on time..he might have told her many times that he was dropping her only since he had work at home but she knew he didn't want her to go walking in the hot sun...he wanted her to succeed even in that small task..his encouragement and his pride in her success..

But that didn't mean she would allow it..she geared herself for the fight and the mindgames that seemed unavoidable

True to his words the previous day he walked in with a gift wrapped box..

Again everybody laughed

Mullai was the only one getting irritated with all this

Meena saw her expression and was amused to see how possessive she had become..she made a mental note to tell Jeeva later

That night in the KM room

Kathir spoke a lot..about paappaa..but Mullai kept quiet..
