Kodaikanal - Day 2

An upset Meena unable to sleep had gotten up early..

She had ordered tea from room service and stood outside so that the bell would not wake the other 2 who were sleeping..

She now held a cup and stood at the balcony enjoying the view..

Dhanam woke up and looked at the forlorn figure standing at the balcony..she went upto her

Dhanam : Good Morning Meena

Meena : Good Morning nga..tea irukku..3 perukkum serthu thaan order pannen

Dhanam looked at her for some time..she looked different..actually she looked like she had made her peace with the arrangement

Dhanam : ille naan appuram kudikkaren..room innikku kedaichudum Meena

Meena : (smiled) athe vidunga..naan mudivu pannitten..enna aanaalum namma enjoy pannarom..naan fix aayitten ithu oru family trip (she said that and bit her tongue)

Dhanam : smiled..yosikkaama kooda vanthathu yen thappu

Meena: illenga neengalum evvalavu naal thaan ippudi veedu velainnu iruppeenga..nethu naan kaduppa thaan irunthen aana thoongi ezhunchu clear aayitten..innikku night room kedaikkaattaalum namma ladies moonu perum enjoy pannarom..hmm she said

Mullai : appo avuhalukku marupadiyum phone panni extra room vendaamnu sollidalaama?ippo thaan phone vanthuchu room ready ah irukkam..

Meena : ahn venaam venaam..(looking at Dhanam) namma ladies enjoyment ah konjam othi vechukkalaam.pls pls..

Dhanam and Mullai laughed at Meena's antics..

The 3 ladies took a few selfies in the balcony

The doorbell rang to take Meena and Mullai to their new rooms..

In the room allotted for KM..

The busboy rang the bell..

Kathir fresh from the shower opened the door

Mullai went in..

Kathir and Mullai looked at each other..there was a look of peace in both their eyes..as if to say 'appada namma room kedaichuduchu'..

They both didn't even know they wanted this..but they did..

Mullai : enga tea kudicheengala..

Kathir : ahn naan kaarthaalaiye..nee kudichiya..order pannattuma

Mullai : illenga innum kudikkala.. soldreehala..

Kathir : hmm seri..vera ethachum venuma..

Mullai : illenga..naan kulichuttu varen..

Mullai went in..

Kathir realising that she will need some privacy went to the balcony after drawing the curtains close behind him..

Mullai inside didn't know this..she didn't know how to tell him..so she wore her saree inside the bathroom..the result was the lower half of her saree had gotten wet..

She came out to find the room in relative darkness..assuming he had gone out..she opened the curtains..

He had his back to her..he had changed into his trousers but was yet to wear his shirt over the sleeveless black vest he was wearing..

It was a sight..he looked as majestic as the mountains ranging ahead of him..

She went and joined him..yen inga nikkareenga

Kathir : kulichittiya..nee nimmathiya ready aagalaamennu thaan..he trailed off

Mullai : oh (she hadn't expected this)
