A/N : Normally I am not very fond of exaggerating a character's negative trait..I prefer tweaking it to make it positive..but in this particular plot am exaggerating a bit on D's character..this is just my take on the issue..the intention is definitely not to bash one character

Mullai nodded her head..content at having made him happy..a little sad that she forgot his birthday..a little miffed with all the questions from Dhanam..happy that she had approached Moorthy instead of moping around

Kathir slept..very happy with all that his wife did for him...and also thoughtful about how to set right the money situation..he could sense that it was an issue that needed to be addressed

Outside Moorthy lay thinking about his conversation with Mullai earlier that day..he understood that this was an issue..he decided to do something about it..he had already tried telling his brothers to take a monthly allowance soon after their marriage but they had declined..he decided to tackle it a different way

He had respected Mullai's wish and had avoided speaking to Dhanam about the money issue..

Around this time Mullai's dad had come home to inform that Parvathy amma had a knee problem and he would like to take Mullai to stay with them for a few days..While Dhanam and L amma were busy planning for a week..Kathir had become uncomfortable and the moment opportunity presented itself in the form of Parvathy amma's chithi coming over to stay..he had intervened and cancelled the stay for Mullai

Mullai when she came to know this was ecstatic

Meanwhile for Moorthy..an opportunity to ensure that the ladies had money on their hands presented itself the very next day..he had a family of 3 people working in the godown helping with the packeting of items purchased from wholesalers...there was a marriage in the family and all 3 of them were going to be on leave..and fresh stock was going to arrive that day
