Kathir and Mullai were in a comfortable place..everything was going so well..

One sunday evening the ladies sat discussing what needed to be made for dinner..

They had made non veg for lunch..

Dhanam : pesaama night satham vechudalaama..mathiyam vecha mutton kuzhambu irukku

Meena : marupadiyum saathama

Mullai : akka dosai podalaamaa?

Dhanam : aiyo dosai venaam Mullai..suttu maalaathu..

Mullai : akka moonu per irukkom ille..athellam pannidalaam akka

Meena : amaanga dosai oothi naalaaguthu ille

Kanna : amaam anni dosai mutton kuzhambu nenaichaale naakku ooruthu

Dhanam saw all their eager faces and relented

Later that night

Mullai went into the kitchen to see piping hot idlys in a platter

Dhanam entered the kitchen

Mullai : enna ka ..dosai oothalaamnu sonnom..idly oothitteengala

Dhanam : ille ithu summa ethukkum irukkattum nu thaan

Meena also came in then to help prep dinner

Dhanam : idly eppoyum pola mothama pannala..aana oru dosai kkum innoru dosaikkum nadula romba pressure potta oru idly pottu samaalikkalaam..

Meena : ahn ithu sooper..2 aduppula 2 per dosa sudarom..oruthar dosai ya konduttu poi poda correct ah irukkum..

Mullai : saapdarthu kooda innikku inga ukkara sollalaam akka..nadakkarthu kammiyagum ille

Dhanam : ahn athuvum sooper thaan

They had made all plans

As soon as the men arrived Dhanam instructed Meena and Mullai to start..

By the time the men came after freshening up..

Hot dosas were ready for the first round..

But Kathir was going to be late..

The ladies worked in a brisk seamless fashion and the men's plate remained full at all times

Jeeva was the first to stop

Jeeva : pothum anni..ithukku mela mudiyathu..

Kanna and Moorthy had a couple more and stopped..

Mullai asked Dhanam and Meena to sit next..

Moorthy and Jeeva came in..

Ippo enga turn they chorused..

Mullai : aiyo maama ukkarunga..

Ada Kanna nee vaa da..Dhanam and Meena ate while Moorthy and Jeeva made the dosas and Kanna ran around serving the dosas with his usual dose of jokes

Mullai had opted to eat when Kathir came..

They all had a hearty dinner

In the hall

Dhanam hi-fied the girls

Dhanam : kalyana aana puthusula..othasaikku aal illaama..dosaiya suttu..hallkum kitchenkum ottamaa odi..ore aala ellam panna..enna paadaa paduthinaanga..athuvum intha Jeeva irukkaane..dosai gaali aana..thattula karandi vechu satham..kathi koopda mudiyalayaama..
