Chapter 6

All I remember is a black portal then I blacked out for good.

 I woke up in my bed sweating. I sat up in my bed, and attempted to get off, but my legs wouldn't cooperate. I tried again, and actually managed to get off, but I didn't walk out of my room, I had to drag my feet.

"Where do you think you're going, now?"

I whirled around, and saw Father standing there.

"What do you mean? Today is the first day of our mission," I pointed out.

"You're not going anywhere."

"What? What are you talking about of course I'm going, I'm their leader I have to be there for them,"I said, but I practically yelled it in Father's face.

"No, you're not, something is happening to your body, that even I don't know what it is."

I gulped. "What do you mean?" I asked hesitantly.

"Something is happening to your body, and until we find out what's happening you aren't going anywhere!" he demanded.

"I can take care of myself, you know, I'm not a child, I don't need anybody taking care of me, and treating me like a baby," I whispered. He sighed.

"I know that, my son, but you are the strongest being in the world after me, and you are my heir, I have to take care of you, whether you like it or not."

"Where are Thalia, and Nico?"

"They already left,“ he stated calmly. I just nodded, and walked back into my room, and shut the door in Father's face. I climbed into bed, and just lay there with nothing to do. I really wanted to go on this mission, but I guess it was for the best. I was tired, but I didn't want to fall asleep. I was worried, I mean something was happening to me, and for all I know, it could slowly be killing me.
