Twenty Eight

84 hours later

3 and a half days and nothing

Tomorrow is Wednesday and Josh informed me that Jaysea's dad is coming into town to give his condolences on Thursday. Like yeah he can come, but to give his condolences? She's not dead! We sill have time! She could wake up whenever

I don't care if it's not likely that she'll wake up. She can pull through! I believe in her!

"Hey" Quinton said sitting next to me

"Hey" I said not taking my eyes off of Jaysea

"Do you need anything?" He asked me placing his hand on my shoulder

"I don't know what's happening to me. I want to continue to spend my life with this women but it seems like life doesn't want us to be together. I feel so lost and she's not even gone yet. I don't know what to do with myself, and I keep waiting for me to figure it out and I don't" I admit to Quinton

"It's called love" he said patting my shoulder and then walking out

Maybe he's right, maybe I do love this girl. I can't believe I found someone to love again. After mads I told myself I wasn't gonna get back out there for a while, and here came Jaysea skipping into my life.

"I love you" I whispered kissing the top of her hand

Her fingers twitched again and my eyes shot to her face. She was still out. God damn why does life hate me. I feel I'm just destined to be alone

Jess

"Please god, bring her back to me" I cried lightly holding onto her hand

Jaden finally left her room but it was just to grab ibuprofen from Josh because he had a headache. I'm not really a person to show my feelings in front of others so the second he walked out of the door I felt myself burst into tears

"Jess, you in here?" I heard Bryce say as he walked into the room

"Hey, hey it's gonna be okay" he said sitting next to me and pulling me into him

"She's dying, I can feel it and she's not gonna come back to me" I cried burring my head into his shoulder

"We're gonna figure this out okay? I'm gonna be here for you no matter what baby" He cooed rubbing his hand on my hair

"I don't know what I'm gonna do without her" I cried into him

"I know baby, I know" he comforted me

"My world is crumbling at my feet"

"Your dad is coming to see you baby, I know that you and him have had your differences but I know that you would be happy to see him" I said wiping my wet eyes

"I hate seeing you like this" I heard a voice behind me and I turned around to see my mom

"Did Josh tell you?" I asked standing up

"Yeah" She said

I felt tears fall harder as I walked towards my mom

"It's okay sweetheart" she said lightly as she pulled me in for a hug. I was much taller then her so i just toppled over her

"I love her mom, and I'm never gonna be able to tell her how I feel" I cried harder "you never even got to meet her" I finished

"I could careless about that right now. I can see how happy she makes you!" She said holding my face in her hands
