*Helloooo, Justanerdygirl here :) So yeah... Apologies for the extreme lateness of this chapter; school has been really stressful and horrible lately and you may have noticed I haven't really updated any of my other fanfics for a long time either. But I'm back and so is Superwholocks13 yay ^-^.
Anyway, Enjoooy*

I squinted at Cas worriedly through the darkness of my new room, reaching down to throw the sheets off my body. I shivered in the slight cold of the air; I was only wearing boxers, and tried to ignore Castiel's eyes widening at the sight of my naked torso.

"Shut up Cas..." I muttered at him, sitting at the edge of my bed and gesturing for him to sit.

"I didn't say anything!" Cas remarked innocently as he raised his hands in mock surrender, his old smirk flitting across his pale face.

"Well...you thought it...just sit down douchehat..."

I ended up having to grab his hand, pulling him onto the bed next to me. Stupidly, I misjudged his ability to aim and-

*oof*

A split second later I was on my back and staring up, winded, into the sparkling eyes of Cas, who was smirking mischievously at me. I quickly pushed him off, gasping for breath and tried to hide my flushed face from view.

"Oops...my bad Dean..."

I glowered over at him. He did that on purpose the little-...

"Anyway" I grated at him forcefully "are you ok? Do you...wanna talk...?"

A fleeting expression of hurt flickered across Castiel's features, and he began to hurriedly blink away any tears.

"I-I'm fine...it was just a stupid dream...I'm sorry I woke you I just....I didn't think"

His head hung low and turned away from me, now in shadow. I could tell he was ashamed about freaking out about a silly dream, so I hesitantly reached over and wrapped my arm around his shoulders. I could tell he smiled slightly at my action, so I quickly pulled him close to my chest and whisper shouted into his ear.

"WHATS WRONG CAS!!!??? ARE YOU HURT? ARE YOU DYING!? YOU CAN TALK TO ME CAS!! ITS OK, ITS OK. I'M HERE CASTIEL, EVERYTHINGS GONNA BE ALRIGHT!!"

Cas started to chuckle, his head turning more towards me and I began to laugh, clutching his body to me and dragging him almost onto my lap. I ended up pushing him onto my legs and started aggressively stroking his hair, rocking him backward and forewords as he snorted with laughter.

"IM GONNA TAKE CARE OF YOU, BABY!!! YOU BRAVE LITTLE SOLDIER!"

I ducked my head down so it was right by Castiel's ear as I began to whisper.

"Too precious for this world..."

It was then that Cas exploded with laughter. I drew my head back and watched happily as he squirmed in my lap, tears streaming down his cheeks, before he quickly sat up and wiped them away. I smiled at him with such affection that he stopped laughing, and instead, jumped on me.
I had no time to react before his arms closed protectively around my waist and he began rolling around on the bed dragging me wherever he went, giggling adorably and yelling about how awesome I am. He yelled so loudly that I was sure the whole world could hear.

He finally ran out of energy and I finally ran out of breath from laughing. We were left lying on top of the bundled covers, exhausted, but impossibly happy.
I reached over and grabbed his hand, turning my head slightly so I could look into Cas' eyes. He smiled back at me and started gently stroking the back of my hand with his thumb.
He then began to scoot closer to me on the bed until our sides were touching and our hands lay on both our legs.
We still didn't kiss that night, but I didn't mind. We were just content with holding hands, cuddling, staring into each other's eyes and talking nonsense until the sun began to rise.

"DEAN! DEAN WAKE UP, IT'S ALMOST NINE O'CLOCK WE'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR CLASSES...HEY, DEAN!"

Castiel's loud voice ripped through my dreams and my eyes flickered opened immediately. I looked at the clock, swore loudly and sat up in panic, my hair sticking up at odd angles from my head.

"Shit!"

I scrambled out of the bed, tripping over the duvet and falling flat on my face as Cas laughed. I glared at him dangerously before picking myself up and flinging some clothes on, forgetting that Castiel was still sat on the bed, already dressed and watching.

I had just kicked off my pajama pants, leaving me standing in only my boxers when I heard an appreciative "Daayyyuum" from behind me. I froze, only just remembering the boy behind me.
I blushed furiously, scrabbling around in the drawers to find a shirt and pants.
I looked back and Cas was staring at me. He winked playfully causing me to turn an even brighter red.
I grabbed my glasses and shoved them onto my face before tearing from the room feeling flustered, Castiel's laugh following me down the hall.

Sammy and Gabe were already sat at the breakfast bar when I ran in, quietly munching their cereal and whistling; looking all too innocent for my liking. I glared suspiciously at them, but instead of grilling them about it, I just walked over and made myself and Cas a few slices of toast. He walked in moments later looking rather smug and I blushed again, remembering what had happened that morning.

"Morning sunshine" Cas said with a wink.

I rolled my eyes, trying not to turn red, and flung the buttered toast in his general direction. He caught it deftly, laughing and I glared at him. He smirked and bit into the toast obnoxiously,

"Just trying to be friendly" he chuckled as he grabbed his bag and started for the door. He turned back slightly, saying "C'mon little dudes, let's get you to school"

The two small boys huffed in annoyance, but left the cereal and grabbed their bags too, following Castiel out of the door. I was left in the flat alone.

"CAS! CAS WAIT UP!"

I bit into my toast, carrying it with my mouth before hurriedly grabbing my bag and chasing them down the corridor.
