(A/N Heey, it's justanerdygirlx here again, ENJOOY xx XD )

(Dean's POV)

After almost an hour of painfully slow stumbling, Sammy and I finally reached the university campus.
Six or seven tall, grey block buildings rose above us, casting shadows over our faces.
I was more than a little nervous.

Usually I would be alone at this point, but, on special permission from the uni, Sammy was allowed to stay with me. Our parents had called in advance, explaining the situation.
It turns out that there's another guy like us, so we'll be roomie-ing with him and his little brother.
Should be ok...I guess...

I set down the boxes on the concrete for a minute, taking a breather, wiping my brow, and cleaning my fogging glasses with the sleeve of my soft jumper.
Sammy waited next to me, looking up at me with wide eyes, terrified about what would happen next.

I gave him a comforting smile, before reaching down and retrieving the heavy cardboard boxes, walking slowly over to the reception, ready to collect our key.

....

Nervously, we took the lift up to the second floor of block B, let ourselves into room 21; our new home...

I held my breath as we slowly entered, readying myself for the awkward meeting...
But there was no one there.
Sammy and I looked around the whole place... No one.

It was, however, a very nice flat.

The walls were painted mainly white, but everywhere there were random decorative splatters of coloured paint, small drawings and paintings of hearts, stars, even peace signs, around the rooms.
Hidden in the corner, on the ceiling, or huge across what would have been a boring stretch of wall.

There was colour everywhere.
None of the furniture matched, but somehow it all fit.

It was very stylish.

It was very hippy.

But I liked it.
And I think Sammy did too.

We walked around a bit, awestruck by the complete awesomeness of the flat.
I was actually excited to meet the people who lived here.
They would sure be interesting people to roomie with.

It was quite large really.
There was a small hall filled with old converse, some sneakers, and little spider-man slippers that obviously belonged to a boy around Sammy's age.
Glow in the dark stars were stuck decoratively on the ceiling.

That then opened up into an open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining room.
Lounge was equipped with a sofa, bean bags, coffee table, and an awesome flat screen t.v, complete with x-box 360 and kinect.

I gasped when I saw it all...the hours I would spend on that if I could.

The kitchen was pretty bog standard, but still had that flair; paint splatters across the walls and cupboards, and a cool breakfast bar.

There was a hallway leading from the kitchen and lounge that lead to four large bedrooms and one amazing bathroom, fitted with a jacuzzi bath and a power shower.

Me and Sammy were dumbstruck.

This. place. was. AWESOME!

We had to check all the rooms before we found the two empty ones that were for us.
The other two were obviously for the other guys.
Their rooms looked pretty cool, like the rest of the flat.

The little boys room was painted completely blue with huge candy and chocolate drawn all over the walls, painted in expertly with colourful wall paint.
The bed was a single and had a spider-man duvet set on it, probably to match his slippers.
Sammy looked at it enviously.
