The Cold Truth (Sting x OC)

Chapter 31

General POV
Crystal wakes up around noon, she looks around the room to see Sting sitting in the chair holding a sleeping Lector which causes her to sigh a breath of relief.

"I figured you'd freak out of you didn't see me in here." He says softly with a smile.

"How long have you been up?" She asks as she gets out of bed and walks over to him.

"About 30 minutes. Not too long." He stands up and gently sets Lector down as he hugs Crystal tightly.

"I'm glad you're back..." She says as she hugs back, leaning her head against his chest, his head resting gently on her head.

"Me too...I missed you." He says softly as he kisses the top of her head and gently strokes her hair.

"I need to talk to my brother about something, so after breakfast I'm going to head down to Fairy Tail. YOU have paperwork you have to do and Rogue and the exceeds are going to make sure yo do it." She says as she breaks the hug.

Sting groans, "paperwork?" He whines.

"Yes, now go eat something and get dressed." She smiles, and Sting does as told. He gets dressed in his normal outfit.

Crystal gets dressed in an aqua blue strapless crop top, Stings dark blue jacket with the Silver Sabertooth mark on the front chest part, and short jean shorts. She then puts on white boots that stop below her knee.

"You know, I think you should keep that jacket." Sting says.

"Hm?"

"The one you have on...keep it." He smiles.

"Yay!!! Just know that you have to wear it after every wash so it smells like you." She playfully pouts.

Sting chuckles. "Deal, I'm going to go eat. Text me once you arrive at Fairy Tail, and when you leave. Also come to Sabertooth after you're done talking to him."

"Will do." She smiles as the two walk out of the room down to the kitchen. Aurora runs to Crystal and hugs her. "Good morning everyone!" She smiles.

"Good morning." Rogue, Frosch, and Aurora say.

"Aurora, you're in charge of helping Rogue make sure Sting here does his paperwork ok?" Crystal says as she bends down and gently pets her exceeds head.

Aurora nods. "Where are you going?" She asks.

"I need to talk to Gray." Crystal says.

"Tell him we all say hi!" Aurora smiles.

Crystal nods, "I'll meet you guys at Sabertooth later." She smiles and waves as she walks out of the house to make her way to Fairy Tail.

Once she gets to Fairy Tail, she slams the door open, immediately dodging a flying chair. She walks up to the bar where Gray is, he's half asleep still but looks to be in a bad mood.

Crystal sighs, knowing her chances of being ok with this have gone down by 50% and it was low before!

"Hey oni-chan!" She says cheerfully.

"Morning sis. What are you doing here?" He asks in a slight annoyed tone.

"I ugh...wanted to ask you something. Well more like ugh...ask if you're...ok with me doing it? No...I ugh..." She says fidgeting with her hands.

Gray turns to look at her Crystal's eyes widen, his eyes...they look dull...and instead of the hazel brown his eyes generally are...they're grey? His smell is off too... Crystal shakes her head it's probably nothing. She sighs. "I um..."
