For as long as I can recall, my dreams and nightmares have tortured me. I’ve always gotten the weirdest and most bizarre images shot through my mind while I slept, but tonight’s dream was different.

There were beautiful people lying all around. Their faces as perfectly sculpted as models. They all looked so terrifyingly different in their own ways.

They all wore dress clothes, the girls wore long elegant gowns. The boys, tuxedos.

There was one that specifically caught my attention.

He stood at the far wall and had his hands tucked away in his pocket. His hair had no colour to it, black as night- but it could’ve been the shadows -I couldn’t see his eyes either. I assumed they were black.

My first impression of the boy, was that he’s a vampire.

He was motionless, statue like. I could tell that he was eyeing me, so, out of shear curiosity, I stepped closer to the mysterious figure.

The moment I moved, he ran up to me. He tackled me to the ground and licked my neck.

   “Are you ready?” he whispered.

   I nodded.

He bit through my neck and filled my veins with glorious venom. He held my arms over my head to keep me from fidgeting.

Once he pulled away, I saw in a mirror my reflection. Pale white skin, chestnut coloured hair, crimson red eyes.

I grinned, my perfect teeth sparkled off the dim light.

I had woken up screaming that day.
