02- learning the truth

- Steven pov -
My eyes flutter open , I was in a room it was dark the green light from that beeping machine . I try to more my right arm but pain only came with it when I try to move it I scream then I heard to voices .
Amethyst " st...Steven you awake "
Greg " easy son moving to much or you black out "
My dad ruffed my hair and amethyst hug me she was crying but not sadness but cry joy . Then when time went on after amethyst show me her coloring book dad bought me some hospital food .
Greg " here some food son "
Dad help me left up in bed so I can eat , I try again to move my right arm but I scream in pain more , dad had to help me cut my steak , I used my left hand to started eating , when I was eating I want to learn the truth but dad said wait in the morning to tell me.
-in the morning -
I wake up when the sun raise it was my favorite part of the morning , dad was on the phone with someone , then the night nurse from last night  came in and check on me she put a new air tank in and came to me and change something I really don't know what amethyst was showing me more her drawings when the nurse was doing something at me. Ten minutes later Connie came and visit me she hug me tight .
Connie " I miss you Steven "
Steven " me too , but what happen why I'm here ? "
Greg " we tell you when garnet and pearl come here "
Few hours later , garnet came through the door with pearl . Pearl and garnet hug me and then I learn the truth .
Garnet " I'm sorry for this Steven I should seen it coming "
Steven " it ok at least you guys found me "
Now ever time I try to move my right shoulder the pain and the memory of what they told me hurts , dad had to make me take pain pills which my me loopy now I don't have a another arm .
Nurse walk  in and look at my chart , she then clear her thorat .
Nurse " you can go home  in couple days , we will send you home with some bandages "
Greg " thank you nurse "
The nurse left the room , I then think how long I was in the hospital .
Steven " how long I been here "
Greg " pearl you can tell him "
Pearl stand up " 2 months you was out for two months "
After visiting hours was up it was me , dad and amethyst left in the room , I sigh and think tomorrow is another day
