23- Going home

-Steven POV -
I flutter my eyes open form the sun coming in the hospital room , I'm still here . I sigh and sit up in the bed I guess my dad hear me from his sleep he woke up quick . I learn how to open things in the hospital like a water bottle and pill bottles it getting easy , I toke my morning medicine and then look at my phone .

Look like Connie text me and Lars called me must be back from space , I look at the text message from Connie .
Strawberry 🍓 : hey Steven hope you feeling better lion and I having fun
Strawberry 🍓 : I ❤️ you
Then I listen to the voice mail from Lars I giggled a little , I lock my phone and then look at the ceiling . Few hours later dad got back from packing up the van for me .
Doc " what color "
Steven " pink please with a yellow star "
Doc " what with the pink and the yellow star thing "
Steven " my mother was pink diamond so the pink stick and the Star means the crystal gems "
The doc make the cast and then gives dad a thumbs up .
Doc " six weeks then you can have your crutche and your metal arm fitted "
After I got dress help from my dad they bring me out on a wheelchair which was cool .

We pulled up at the temple the welcome home sign was up again look like the gems want me feel welcome again .
Greg " so I was thing used the metal arm when you ready or not ready to drive again "
Steven " I didn't want to lose apart of me like when white diamond pulled my gem out "
Dad ruffled my hair and help me upstairs to inside the beach house , first one that welcome me back was amethyst .
Amethyst " cool pink cast how many weeks with it "
Steven " two weeks with this color then another and then another till six weeks is over "

Pearl" let him settle in he just got home plus Lars call me Steven "
Steven " ok I call him back later after a little nap "
