After we make love, by Whitney Houston

I've been waiting such a long time

For a love that's real to come my way

Gonna take some getting used to

Now that love is here to stay

After we make love

I'll be lost in the afterglow

You're all I'm dreaming of

I just can't, I just can't let the feeling go

After we make love

There's no doubt in my mind

I've been touched by

All that heaven and earth will allow

All that matters is right here and now."

Her hands felt ice-cold. I should've taken her home right after the talk with Bonnie. It had been much too cold out on the graveyard for her. I hoped she wouldn't get sick.

At the boarding house there was no trace of Stefan and Elena, but an envelope had been placed on the mantelpiece of the fireplace in the hall.

'Going to the grill, coming back late. Have yourselves a nice evening,' it read.

"I could kiss Elena – I'm positive this was her idea," I said.

With swaying hips and a malicious smile Helen came up to me.

Pregnancy suits her darn good, I thought, she seems to glow from within.

"You may, if you want to starve on that wall," she said dangerously low.

"Oh! Are you jealous?" I smirked and pulled her into my arms in front of the fireplace.

"That depends," she said and snuggled up to me.

"On what?" I wanted to know.

"Whether you grant me exclusive rights," she said, entwining her fingers in my hair.

"Hm, what's in it for me?" I asked and hugged her closer to me.

"How about a personal witch-bodyguard?" she joked.

"Could come in handy," I whispered and kissed her. A slight shiver ran through her body.

"Is that me or are you cold?" I asked.

"I'm freezing a little bit on the inside," she replied.

"I know the perfect cure for that," I said and lifted her on my arms.

"No speeding, please," she whispered.

I carried her at normal speed to my room and put her on her feet again.

"You'll take a hot bath now and then go to bed. I think you'll be sick," I said and went to the bathroom fill the tub.

"Nah, that was just the cold in the cemetery," she protested and sat on the bed. Sighing, she took off her shoes.

"You know, my feet are actually the worst. I'll probably have to go barefoot at the end," she groaned and kicked away the last shoe.

Clad only in underwear, she finally came up to me in the bathroom.

"Hmm, seeing you like this makes me think of other things," I whispered and pulled her to me.

I ran my hands over her bare skin and went to my knees to kiss her belly. I would've never thought that a pregnant woman could be so appealing.
