TW: panic attack, gore, needles, swearing

Patton's POV:

I was sitting in the living room with everyone else. We were watching Big Hero 6 together. I felt a weight on my shoulder and realized that I was cuddling with Janus. My heart started to feel all fluttery.

"Ha ha that's gay!" Remus laughed, pointing at the two of us. I stuck my tonuge out at him causing Janus to giggle. He was adorable. I felt so comfortable and warm.

Then Janus started coughing. I patted his back trying to help him, but he only got worse. His body started to deteriorate. Blood dripping out from his scales, coughing up petals. My breath quickened. What was I supposed to do?! I glanced around the room but everyone else was just a blur. When I turned back to JJ all that was there was a disgusting mess of guts, blood and weirdly blue flowers.

My heart was racing. I screamed at the disheveled corpse, tears threating to burst out.

I felt someone pat my shoulder.

"Patton!!"

"PATTON!!"

"PATTON!!" I woke with a start. "Oh my god Pat are you ok? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Virgil asked, but everything around me felt like a blur.

"It was-s j-just a b-bad dream kiddo.." I stuttered out, still shaking.

Virgil gave my a gentle hug, before asking: "Do you want to talk about it?" I shook my head.

"What are you doing in my room" I tried changing the subject.

"I came to apologize about earlier, but when I came in your breathing was really shallow and your skin was damp with sweat. I'm glad your ok." The purple side smiled.

"Thanks kiddo. I'm going to go make myself some toast, want some?" I suggested.

"Nah I'm fine, thanks for the offer though." He shrugged, before leaving the room.

I got up and changed into some comfier clothes. I pulled on my cat hoodie and left for the kitchen.

But then I passed Janus's door.

Logan's POV:

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.

"Ughhh why can't Patton just let us do what we need to do!" Remus moaned.

"Because he is concerned about his friends. And be careful with that blood sample! We don't want Janus to lose more blood than he already has!!" I shouted. "I'll deal with Pat, ok? I hope I can trust you to behave Remus."  I turned to the door, about to open it.

"You can count on the Duke!" He smiled at me.

I opened up the door to see that it was indeed Patton.

"Salutations Pat, what can I help you with?"

It took me a second to take in his appearance.

He only wore his hoodie when he felt especially vunderable.

"Well, u-uhm, you see Lo, I had a particularly bad dream, and it involved Ja- and I just want to make sure he's okay!" The moral trait smiled.

I adjusted my glasses. "What happened in the bad dream?" I asked.

Patton was very hesitant to answer. I assumed he didn't want to talk about it.

"Well I can't let you in to see Janus right now because of his condition, but would some toast and crofter's make you feel better? We could watch a movie too if it helps?" I suggested.
