Virgil's POV:

I sped down the hallway, still trying to process what just happened. As I approached the living room door, I tried to calm myself down a bit. Taking deep breaths, I attempted to make sense of it all.

Janus? dying. The only way to save him is to make Patton fall in love with him.

Patton? He knows something is wrong, but he doesn't know anything else about the situation.

Remus? He's trying to keep a smiling face and his usual composure, but I can tell he's suffering.

Roman? Blissfully unaware. I wonder what it's like being that dumb.

Logan? He seems to be suffering the most. I don't know how to explain it, it's just one of those things that you just know.

And me. Even after analyzing everyone's reactions and emotions, I can't seem to form my own. I'm just at a complete loss of words. And absolutely filled with dread.

I walk into the living room. Roman and Patton are sitting on the floor watching the movie, whilst Logan was sitting on the couch reading. No-one had noticed me come in. I tapped Logan's shoulder to the and get his attention.

"What do you need, Virgil?" The logical trait sighed, not looking up from his book.

"It's- Janus told me to grab you" I whispered.

"You know?" Logan mouthed at me. Giving him a quick nod, he dog-eared his book and left the room. I debated following him, but he's Logan. He knows what he's doing.

Logan's POV:

Virgil knows!!?! This just what I get for leaving Remus alone for two minutes-

I walked into the yellow sides room, trying to keep me composure.

"Where's Remus?" I asked.

"He -cough--cough- spilt one of the tube thingys, so he went to the- the- -cough- bathroom to clean himself up" Janus replied weakly, gesturing vaguely.

Sighing, I began to tidy the mess Re had made. I can feel J's eye's following me. Finished, I walk over to his bed.

"Do you remember what tests Remus went over?" I asked the snake boy. He hesitated but eventually responded.

"I don't remember him doing anything, he definitely didn't take my blood though." Janus smirked lazily. I faked a laugh before doing the test remus had seemingly forgotten.

~tiny af time skip~

I checked the thermometer one more time, before putting it on Janus's bedside table.

"Well, your temparture is ok," I smiled. "and that concludes our tests. You can sleep now." The yellow trait let out a long sigh of relief. "I'll give you some space, all this stress can't be good for you." I patted Janus's head, and walked over to the door.

Closing the door, I decided to look for Remus.

Obviously I checked the bathroom first, but weirdly he wasn't there. I went down the hallway, and knocked his door.

"Remus? Are you in there?" I asked, loud enough for him to hear.

"W-who is it?" A small voice called out.

"It's me, Logan! Can I come in?"

"uh, sure."

I slowly opened the door and walked in. The green side's room was a complete mess. His bed sheets had been thrown about the place, his plushies scattered across the floor, etc, etc. I scanned his room over before finally spotting him laying face down on his bed.

"Re? You okay babe?" I sat down next to him on his bed.

"I- I'm sorry for telling virgil, he just kind off burst in and- we started f-fighting and- I broke the blood sample thing- and- and- I'M SORRY!" He immedately burst into tears, wrapping his arms me. I hugged him back, letting him cry into my shoulder. I took his head im my hands, his goregous green eye's glassy with tears.

"Never aplogize for having emotions" I smiled, planting a small kiss on his forehead.
