Secrets & Lies (𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑢𝑒𝑑)

-Chapter 4-

[Main Gym]

[Third Person]

Everyone stood there looking at the small girl, then looking at Hinata and then they looked at the others who still had their flower crowns on.

The silence was so loud, you probably could hear a pin drop and the sound would ring in your ears.

Natsu hid behind her brother out of view from the giant players, "Onii-chan.." Natsu whispered, it wasn't a question, it was more of a sign that she was scared. "Alright! Everyone this is Natsu, Hinata's sister, she'll be tagging along with us for this week!" Sugawara said, shouting, repeating Daichi's words from beofre.

The other players let out an "Oh.." sound, "Where did the flower crowns come from?" Oikawa asked, "Natsu made em!" Nishinoya said pointing to his own crown with both hands. "Oh! I want one.." Oikawa mumble, a jealous aura surrounded him but no one noticed.

It didn't take long for everyone to go back to whatever they we're doing, Natsu sat on the side with Yachi, the two girls talked about many different things while Kiyoko was filling up the drink bottles for the players, humming to herself.

Everyone was enjoying the afternoon and talking to each other, the ball coming into contact with the skin made the players feel satisfied, the sound of their shoes squeaking on the gym floors, the ball also hitting the ground- it was like music the the obsessed volleyball players.

[Later On That Day]

[Third Person]

The sky was becoming a purple like orange, getting darker and darker each hour.

The boys we're either having showers or just relaxing in their rooms talking to their friends, but of course- there we're certain people who we're still playing volleyball.

Gym 3, Bokuto, Akaashi, Kuroo, Lev, Tsukishima, Hinata and another two people decided to tag along, Hanamaki and Matsukawa.

Cats vs Owls, Bokuto, Akaashi, Hinata and Hanamaki we're on the Owls team while Kuroo, Lev, Tsukishima and Matsukawa we're obviously on the Cats team.

The game was going smoothly, 13-15 with Owls in the lead. They decided to take a quick break but as soon as the words left Kuroo's mouth, Hinata's phone went off. Hinata went over to his bag and looked at his phone-

It was his mother.

"Hey guys, I'll be back in a bit!" Hinata said, everyone said an 'ok' and Hinata walked out the doors.

[Hinata's POV]

"Hello?" I said, "Hello Shoyo." My mum said, her voice was raspy and it sounded like she just finished crying, "Mum.. is everything ok?" I asked, worried, "I-.. I just wanted to hear your voice.. how's Natsu?" She said, "She's doing good actually, she seems to get along with everyone just fine!" I said with a nervous giggle.

"Well, that's good to hear.." She said, "Mum, are you ok?" I said again, "Shoyo, I have to go now, tell Natsu I said goodnight, I love you baby." She said, it was like she was going to cry again, "W-wait! Mum, what's going on!?" There was something obviously wrong, it... it might have to do with him.. most likely, "Mum?! What did he do!?" I asked.

There was a muffled sound on the other side along with a shout and a shattering noise and then... silence.

[Third Person]

Hinata stood there looking at his phone, his eyes were starting to burn with hot tears.

He let out a small grunt having the urge to throw his phone, but he didn't because if he did he wouldn't be able to contact his mother, he needed to know if she was ok...

Hinata then back up to the wall that was behind him, dragging his body down now sitting on the dirty ground. With the phone still in hand, he pulled his knees to his chest, resting his head on them... then he cried. He felt like a baby, he could easily try and call his mother but... so many things could go wrong...

Little did he knew, somebody was standing there, watching and listening in on his small conversation.

So, I was going over my story and I noticed how everything seems... rushed, if you guys are confused and have questions or anything like that, don't be afraid to ask!!

Also, the story may seem boring so far but trust me, it'll get better!
