"Wait,ti dewo comba?"Roman said in disbelief"you know what I meant,I love you."

Roman smiled brightly,Virgil smiled back"maybe we should get home,it's getting late."The two then stood up.

"And Virgil.."Roman held Virgil's hand"this is a romantic gesture,not platonic."Virgil blushed"I'm so sorry!"Roman laughed"it's fine,let's go."

The two walked into the house"so...now that we both know there's feelings,what are we?"Virgil asked"I-I'm not very e-educated in h-human courtship."

Roman smiled"well,when two people like each other they do something called dating."Virgil sat on the couch as he listened"you go on dates which are just going out and being with your spouse,aka your partner in your relationship."

Virgil smiled"go on,what else happens?"Roman sat next to Virgil"well...you know when you kissed my cheek?"Virgil nodded"couples do that a lot but...on the mouth."Virgil tilted his head and Roman sighed I didn't imagine this being so awkward.

"Well it's like...um...you touch lips!"Roman tried to explain,Virgil stared blankly at Roman"is the gesture important for a first time?"Virgil bluntly asked.Roman blushed"well,it's obviously your first time so yeah..it would be important."

Virgil smiled"well can you show me an example so I know what to do?"Roman nodded"um...let's watch a movie,Romeo and Juliet again?you fell asleep at the kiss."Virgil nodded"ok!"

At the kissing scene Virgil hummed"so we're supposed to do that?"Roman nodded"but of course,first time is a bit different and I need your consent."Virgil stared at the TV"interesting,human courtship is strange."

Roman looked to Virgil"what did you do on your planet?"Virgil blushed"it's probably ridiculous to you."Roman shook his head"I wanna know!"

Virgil brought his knees to his chest"well,we have this period of time we're courtship is brought up more."he said awkwardly"usually that makes the females were I live more open to the males and the males more of pushovers around the females,it's strange."

Roman listened to what Virgil had to say"of course,you can't court a stranger.most of them have friendships and share a romantic attraction,the actual courting itself is a bit similar to humans.we go out with the spouse we're attracted to and one,usually the males but also females,try to impress the other."

"How is that?"Roman asked"I've seen females showing off how high they can float,males bringing expensive gifts,really anything."Roman nodded"d-do I have to keep explaining?"

Roman shook his head"no,I don't want to make you uncomfortable Virge."

Virgil smiled"thank you."Virgil then rested his head on Roman's shoulder well,this is going to be strange for a while.Roman looked down at Virgil but it'll be worth it for my storm cloud.
