"How long are you guys staying again?"Roman asked"we have to stay since we have the only functioning ship,how else would Virgil get to the solstices?"Janus said with Virgil translation.

"So at least until Virgil dies?"Thomas nodded"ugh,I guess I can pull more weight at work."Roman mumbled,Virgil looked up at Roman"I can help!"Roman looked down at Virgil"how could you help?"

"I can get a job!"Roman raised a eyebrow"Mi Amor,I think you forgot the chance that someone could find you."Virgil sighed"what if I did a at home job?no one would know!"Roman thought for a moment"it's still risky,and I don't even know how old you are."

Roman remembered what happened in Virgil's room shit I was making out with someone I don't even know the age to!"oh,how old are we?well,we have our own sun in your galaxy that we go around at the same speed as earth so I believe I'm gueruma years old."

Roman took out a notebook and pen"maybe just mark it down?"Virgil nodded then went to work,after a moment he asked"why is my age important?"

"Well there's laws that state someone a certain age can't go to work."Roman glanced away and mumbled"and a certain age to date a 25 year old."Virgil showed him the notebook"am I too young?"

Roman counted the marks and letted out a sigh of relief"you're 20 so you should be fine,what about the others?"Virgil looked to Remus"he must be 21 and Janus 20,Thomas i think is somewhere in his 30's by that logic."

"Then you're all good but I still think it's not the best option to go get a job,it's just too risky."Virgil sighed"fine.."Virgil then looked up at Roman"you wanna go out Ro?"

Roman smiled softly"sure,anything you want Mi Amor."

Virgil walked down the street with Roman and stopped at a restaurant"in the mood for Mexican?"Virgil nodded"sounds good!"the couple then walked inside.

They sat down and Roman handed Virgil the menu"can you read now?"Virgil nodded"I'll have a casadea."Roman nodded"I'll just have rice and whatever meat they use here."

A woman walked over and stared at Roman for a second,Virgil tensed and glared at her"oh sorry,what would you like to drink?"she asked.

"Sprite and water."Roman answered"as you'd like!"she gave Roman a smile and walked away,Virgil sighed and played with a napkin.

The woman walked over"hey,nice seeing you again!"she greeted to Roman making Virgil's grip tighten on the napkin"so the drinks will be here in a moment,how's your day?"she asked leaning against the wall.

"It's fine."Roman answered"I'm having a great time with Mi Amor."the woman smiled"oh,is she running late?"Virgil ripped his napkin"oh no,that's him right there!"Roman pointed at Virgil.

The woman looked at Virgil"well he seems to have anger issues,are you ok with him here?"Virgil growled"no,we're fine."he grumbled"you mean you,you didn't ask him if he was fine."

"He is fine,fuck off."Virgil hissed the woman crossed her arms"there is no need to use that language here."Roman spoke up"ma'am,I don't believe it's your job to ruin a date so may you please get our drinks?"he said softly.

The woman sighed"fine."she then turned and walked away"I can't believe how rude these people are."Roman complained"y-you are good,aren't you?a-am I being controlling?"Virgil blurted out.

Roman shook his head"Mi Amor,I love you with all my heart.you could never be controlling!"Virgil nodded"ok..."

The woman came back and gave Roman his water then Virgil his sprite,he wrist bumped the drink making it spill"oh,I'm so sorry!"she said sarcastically as Virgil got his drink on him.

Roman stood up and glared at her"can you leave us the fuck alone!?"Virgil flinched as the woman nodded"o-of course,sir."she then turned and walked away.

Roman walked over to Virgil"you ok,Virge?"Virgil nodded"just wet,I'm fine!"Roman grabbed a napkin and tried to clean Virgil up"I'm so sorry,we'll go wherever you want after this.we don't even need to eat if you don't want to."

Virgil shook his head"it's fine Ro,just sit down."Roman did as Virgil asked and they got their food,easily eating it all.

Virgil sighed"that felt good."he giggled at his statement"can we go to the woods by your house after this?"Roman nodded"whatever your heart desires."

Roman got out the car"to the woods!"he announced as he grabbed Virgil's hand and dragged him through the dark.

Virgil giggled as he began to float and go ahead of Roman"hey no fair!"Roman said running after him,Virgil looked back at Roman and stuck out his tongue.

Virgil bumped his head on a branch and fell,Roman caught him"you ok?"Virgil nodded"c'mon!"Virgil then turned and ran up a hill with Roman behind him,they broke through the bushes and trees to a clearing on high ground.

Roman looked to his house not far away"hey are you still wet?"Virgil shook his head"I don't think so."Virgil then sat on the grass with Roman.

"It's funny how we used to have all this alone time then your friends came in,they made it even better!"Virgil nodded"they're fun,I'll give them that."

Roman looked at Virgil"I love you,you know?"Virgil nodded and looked to Roman"I love you too,Roman."Roman caressed Virgil's cheek and gave him a kiss.

Virgil kissed back and pulled away"you're more beautiful then the stars themselves,little comet."Roman flirted,Virgil giggled"be quiet and keep kissing."Roman met their lips again for a bit longer.

Remus groaned"I'm bored!"Janus sighed"watch that guy who screams at people cooking,you seem to like that."

"But I don't actually understand him besides a few words!"Remus said"this language is so complicated,which witch!?"

Thomas shrugged"Virgil got it in a decent amount of time."Remus sat up from the couch"but Virgil is like,super smart."

"Or you're super dumb."Janus teased"hey!"Remus and Janus then chased each other around the house as Thomas sighed"might as well try to understand what these humans are babbling on about."

Virgil pulled away for air"you wanna know something funny?if I wasn't born as prince then we would've never met."Roman nodded"just imagine,I could've ended up marrying my dog instead of you!"

Virgil tilted his head"what is marrying?"Roman rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly"well,whenever two humans who really love each other and have been dating for a while...the male gets the female jewelry."

Virgil nodded as he listened"a-and they have this big party with friends and family,everyone dresses up nice and dance to music."Virgil awed at the thought"getting married sounds like fun!"

Roman nodded,Virgil gasped"could we get married!?"Roman choked on his spit in surprise"umm,getting married is a bit too important to do right away and...um..."Virgil smiled"it's ok Roman."he rested his head on Roman's shoulder"I'm happy just the way we are."

Roman held Virgil's hand and kissed the back of it"me too,Mi Amor,I'll always love you."Virgil smirked"I know."Roman chuckled softly.

(Ok I just had a weird angst idea,what if this is all Roman's imagination and he's going insane from being alone with Patton?just a thought.*sips tea*)
