Thomas looked up curiously at the fan as Remus stared at a toaster,Janus was poking Patton's head.
Roman held back his laughter"was this how I was?"Virgil asked"nope,you just hissed at me and spoke nonsense till I gave you Ramen."Virgil huffed"be quiet."Roman smirked"make me."
Virgil chuckled"watch it Princey,I might bite~."he purred,Roman leaned closer"you have my consent~."Thomas cleared his throat making the couple snap out of their banter.
"So,we're here to bring back Virgil as you may know.and we know Virgil doesn't want to come but this is the only way,until Virgil passes there will be no ruler."Thomas explained"but what about the high and mighty council,they act like the rulers."
"They are your caretakers Virgil,they only help and guide you."Thomas said"but why can't Virgil just pass on the role of king?"Remus asked"because it's a birth right,without his third eye you're not royalty and never will be."
"A birth mark shouldn't matter,the right was passed to me when the old king died wasn't it?I'm not related to the king,no one barely even spoke of him!"Virgil blurted out.
"That is true but there's rules to our monarchy,you know that."Roman looked to Virgil then spoke up"Virgil's your prince,right?you need to obey his orders?"the aliens nodded"then do as he asks,pass on the role to a council member.so Virgil can have the life he wants and this council can have the highest honor."
Thomas sighed"there can be arrangements but you need to understand that the council will not take the role willingly,they've been raised by these rules and know them better then anyone."
"Rules were made to be broken,as they say here."Roman said with a smile there has to be a way..
