The sun slowly rose over the rooftops of your small neighborhood, causing a bright sliver of light to pour into your room through a crack in your curtains. Unfortunately for you, that little light beam happened to shine right across your face, causing you to scrunch up your nose and blink open your eyes. "Damn sun..." You muttered angrily before flipping your self over, throwing your blanket over your head to block out the oh so annoying light. After a few moments though your breathing seemed to stop as your eyes flew open with realization. "I'm Late!" You squealed as you threw your blanket off your body and scrambled to get out of bed.

You were supposed to be on your way to school an hour ago and now there was no way around being late. You quickly threw on your uniform and grabbed your backpack and phone before bolting down the stairs, stopping only to clumsily slip on your shoes before you began sprinting down the road towards Karasuno highschool. About halfway to your destination though, you realized just how cold it was outside. 'Wow, it just had to be this cold out when I'm late huh?'  you thought with a frown as goosebumps began to form on your arms. Of course in your rush to get out of the house, you didn't even consider grabbing a jacket. With a heavy sigh, you shook your head and continued jogging your way to school, silently praying you'd make it before you were late. 

After some more panicked running, you finally arrived at school and breathed a huge sigh of relief to find you still had a few more minutes until the warning bell sounded. You were eager to get inside and feel the heat inside but when you stepped into the school your eyes widened as you realized it was just as cold inside as it was outside and everyone indoors was still wearing their scarves and jackets. You shivered a little before you began making your way to your classroom. 'Why the hell is it so cold inside..?' You wondered with a deep-set frown as you opened the door and looked around for your close friend, Sugawara. "Sugaaaa.." You whined as you walked over to your friend who was sitting on top of his desk, talking with another one of his close friends, Daichi.

Both Suga and Daichi turned to look at you as you wandered over, still hugging your small frame as you pouted. It was quite obvious that you were cold by the way you were shivering and the light tint of pink that dusted your cheeks as well as the tip of your nose. Sugawara chuckled and began to speak but you unintentionally tuned him out as your gaze drifted to the volleyball captain standing beside him. You've had a crush on Daichi since your first year at Karasuno but you tended to be quite shy around him which resulted in you not getting all that close to him even though you were in the same class and spent a lot of time around him since you followed Sugawara around constantly. 

You couldn't help but blush, your already pink cheeks becoming darker as you basked in the joy you often felt in his presence. Something about him just made you feel safe though you couldn't quite pinpoint why that was, It still played a part in your little crush. You were pulled out of your thoughts by Sugawara ruffling your hair. "H-Hey! Stop that Suga-Kun!" You narrowed your eyes at the grey-haired male who just smiled t you. "I bet you didn't hear a word I just said huh?" He asked teasingly, giving you that heartwarming smile accompanied by a head tilt. You didn't miss that mischievous glint in his eye though. Sugawara was very aware of your crush on Daichi and he was always trying to get you to confess. No matter how many times he tries to tell you that Daichi had feelings for you as well, you never believed him.

"Ah- sorry I'm just really cold. I woke up kinda late and forgot to grab a jacket.." You muttered a bit embarrassingly, causing Suga to laugh again. "Ah, well the heaters are gonna be broken for a few days so you shouldn't forget again okay?" Your eyes widened at his words and you cursed lightly under your breath. "Are you serious? Ugh, that means I'm gonna be freezing all day?" You frown deeper as you moved to your seat beside Sugawara's and plopped your bag in the chair. "You should get up on time then. How many times have I told you to stop staying up so late huh?" He narrowed his eyes at you playfully, causing you to puff out your still pink cheeks. "Whatever, mom.." Suga laughed at your bitter response.
