Haunted House || Bokuto Koutarou

Hey hey everyone! Sorry I haven't published a new apart in a few days heh I was out on a camping trip with my family! but I'm back and ready to give yall some Bokuto love~

"Cmon Y/N It will be fun!" Bokuto exclaimed excitedly as he waved some weird brochure in front of your face. you gave a small sigh and reached up to pluck the paper from his hands. You raised an eyebrow at the words written on the page before you looked back up at him. "A haunted house? In the middle of summer?" Bokuto didn't falter as he stared down at you with that large grin. "Yeah isn't that awesome?!" Honestly, you didn't think it was very cool at all. You loved Halloween and most things associated with it but a random haunted house in the middle of summer sounded less than great and you immediately assumed it was some kind of quickly put together low budget mess. 

You were about to decline his offer but stopped when you looked up at him. His large, golden eyes sparkled with excitement, and the way he was leaning over your desk while practically trembling in anticipation quickly switched your answer.  What did you expect anyway? You were absolutely weak when it came to the boy in front of you. "Oh my gosh fine. I'll go." You said with aa huff which made his eyes sparkle even more as he jumped up and pumped his fist in the air. "Hey hey hey!! I know you won't regret it Y/N!" and with that, the tall captain had dashed out of your classroom most likely going to ramble on about the haunted house to Akaashi.

The rest of the school week flew by very quickly and next thing you knew, you were standing outside the entrance to the haunted house with Bokuto beaming beside you. Just as you had suspected, the haunted house looked very low budget and the few people that were working there looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. Bokuto was absolutely ecstatic though. He turned a complete blind eye to the quality of the house and instead turned his full attention to the person beside him. He knew you had a thing for Halloween stuff and found this the perfect opportunity to ask you out on a date. 

He was planning to act as your knight in shining armor, saving you from anything that might spook you while you were walking through the attraction. Then, while you were clinging to him due to our fear, he would gently tilt your face to meet his and tell you something super reassuring before stealing the perfect kiss. Oh yes, He had everything planned out. Bokuto quickly grabbed your hand and started to pull you after him, slipping into the short line leading into the building. You decided to make the best of spending some alone time with your crush and went with whatever he wanted. 

After a short wait, you both made it to the front of the line and Bokuto quickly paid for your admission before pulling you through the door. The entrance to the home was a long dark hallway. There were a few taped off entrances that probably led to a living room or kitchen but the only available way to walk was straight ahead towards aa dim light. Bokuto wrapped an arm around your shoulder and hugged you closer before he whispered "Just hold onto me if you get scared." You nodded, which made him smirk as he led you slowly down the hallway. There were splotches of red dripping down the walls of the hallway though due to the smell you guessed it had to have been dyed glue or something similar.

When you reached the end of the hallway, Bokuto tucked you behind him and entered the room with the dim lighting first. Inside the room was a tv with static on the screen which was the source of the light. Suddenly, Bokuto jumped up and let out a screech as a very unenthusiastic teen wrapped in toilet paper jumped from behind the sofa and made a boring-sounding groan. "I'll protect you Y/N!" Bokuto screamed and went to throw aa punch at the mummy dressed boy. He didn't succeed though as you looped your arm around his elbow and tugged him back. The boy dipped back behind the couch with a snicker, leaving Bokuto wide-eyed and panting as you pulled him along into the next room.

"Hah! That monster didn't stand a chance." Bokuto declared triumphantly as he grinned which caused you to roll your eyes. The next room was just as dark as the last but was decorated to look like some sort of abandoned hospital room. There was a ton of the fake blood you had seen earlier and a few surgical tools scattered around. You looked up to find Bokuto trembling beside you and you immediately knew why.

Bokuto had always been scared of hospitals. He hated everything that had to do with doctors and all things related so it was no surprise to you when he grabbed your arm and began to drag you out of the room. "Hey Y/N.. this place must be pretty scary for you riiight?" He didn't even wait to see what was going on, he only clung to you an made a break for the curtain covering the exit to the room. The next room wasn't dark but you were jump sacred right away by someone is a fake blood stained pig onesie holding an obviously plastic axe.

Bokuto squealed like a little girl but this time you couldn't grab his arm before he pulled it back and punched the 'monster' in the face. He didnt stop there though, he pounced on top of the actor and began to wack them repeatedly with the toy axe they welded moments ago.

A long story short, you were both kicked out of the haunted house after that. "Heh.. I did a great job of protecting you right Y/N?" Bokuto bashfully asked as he led you down the street towards the train station. With a sigh, you turned to look at him and mustered up your best smile "yeah you did good.." his grin faltered at your expression though and you watched as his ego popped like a balloon. "You didn't have fun huh..? I knew this was a stupid idea.." he sulked with a deep frown as he turned his face away from you and shoved his hands into his jeans.

You rolled your eyes and quickly looped your arm through his, pulling him flush against you as you stopped walking. "Awe c'mon Bokuto don't be that way. So what is the haunted house idea was a flop? I still had a ton of fun spending time with you today!" You pulled him so he was facing you before you wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug. "You did have fun with me too right?" You asked as you made your own fake pout, waiting for the bipolar owl-like boy to spring back into his usual cheerful self.

As soon as he saw your little pout, Bokuto began to panic. He quickly wrapped his arms around you in return and squeezed you tightly. You let out a squeak at being squished but allowed him to hug you to his hearts content. "Did you really have fun?" He asked shyly as he finally released you. "Yes of course silly. Why don't we stop for ramen before we go home hmm?" You smiled up at him and leaned in to plant a soft kiss on his nose. His face erupted into a  bright shade of red at the small kiss and he gave you the goofiest grin you'd see all day.

"Yes of course!!" He screamed excitedly and took your hand in his before dragging you off to a nearby ramen shop. You shook your head and smiled wisely at his antics, wondering how you ever caught feelings for such a dork.

Waaaaaaah so its finally done!! Not gonna lie guys I struggled a bit with this one. I love Bokuto and I like this prompt bit for some reason I just struggled to
write it heh.
