LOLA'S POV
I wave my boyfriend goodbye, watching him drive away.
His name is Aaron, and I think I'm in love with him.
I met him about one month after me and Eddie broke up, and he was just there for me. He really gets me, you know? He even knew about my mum from day one; his grandparents both suffered from mental illnesses, and he had heard about my mum from the gossiping nurses in the hospital. So when he heard my surname, he guessed, and you know what? It felt so nice to have someone who went through what I went through!
Me and Eddie are alright as well. Eddie had to take a break from being around me, but after four months, he surprised me by buying me tickets to the cinema. As a sorry for avoiding me. That, I thought, was so sweet.
And can I just say, couple goals! Me and Aaron, not me and Eddie. Don't worry, I'm not a cheater. As I was saying, Aaron completely understood, and he trusted me and Eddie to enjoy a film together. It warmed my heart so much.
I'm in my last year of school as well, and I can't wait for the next chapter of my life to arrive.
