*Onyx pov*

Ruby and I walked down the streets of Vale. So far our date is going well. The festival preparations look like they're going well. Our way to the weapon shop was rather peaceful so I think I can let my guard down for a little bit. That and also Ruby helps keep me calm.

Ruby: Oh I'm so excited! I didn't think we would be here.

Onyx: If it's of any compensation, I was nervous as well.

Ruby: Still, I'm glad we are together.

Onyx: As am I Ruby. Looks like we are almost at the weapon shop. I wonder what they got.

Ruby: Me too!!! I wonder if they have some armor with built in weapons!!!

Onyx: That would be cool.

Ruby: Maybe we can get some and add them to your battle gear. No offense, but robes aren't really the best protection in a fight.

Onyx: You may be right, but it's flexible and light. Plus, it's actually made of armored fabrics. Even then, your choice of battle gear isn't exactly what I call practical.

Ruby: Fair point.

We arrived to the weapon shop. I always secretly loved coming here. Weapons, armor, and all that stuff has always been my passion next to lightsabers and the force. Then again, that is dwarfed by my passion for those I love. Through my passion I gain strength and that leads to my power in the force. Though, I'm not limited to the dark side, I do have exceptional use of the light side of the force. Anyway, I watched as Ruby browsed through the weapons. I did the same. One in particular caught my eye with it's design. Perhaps I could make a weapon based on it. I soon found some ammo for Crescent Nightshade along with some dust rounds. I then found some ammo for Crescent Rose including some parts to fix some worn out parts. I decided to buy these and then some. Pays off having an ancient sith for an ancestor. Tulak's will is how I got my fortune and it is quite easy to convert credits to lien. Ruby bought some spare parts as well.

Ruby: That was really nice of you to pay for everything.

Onyx: What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't pay? Not a good one I can tell you that much.

Ruby: So where should we go next?

Onyx: How about the bakery that opened a couple weeks ago?

Ruby: Isn't that expensive?

Onyx: It's no trouble. I have everything covered.

Ruby: If you say so.

Onyx: On the bright side, you get your favorite, Chocolate chip cookies.

Ruby: Yeah!!!

Onyx: Just don't go to crazy on the sugar.

Ruby: What's that supposed to mean?

Onyx: Remember the last time you went to a bakery? You went so crazy with all the cookies that you nearly destroyed the building. I had to literally restrain you with heavy cables to stop you!

Ruby: You... Have a point...

Onyx: Hey *holds Ruby in a hug* I didn't mean to ruin your fun. I just want you to be careful ok?

Ruby: Ok.

We went to the bakery where the smell of fresh baked goods flooded our noses. This was a great idea. We soon came to the front where we are met by a baker.

Baker: Why hello there. Welcome to Sullivan's Bakery. What can I get you two?

Ruby: I would like a dozen chocolate chip cookies!
