Rebecca's POV
I saw her note and smiled, I opened the door and saw her standing.
"I'm sorry, forgive me", she said.
"No, I'm sorry, it's all my fault"
"So we're good" she said smiling.
"Say how about we go for a walk and watch the sun go down, just me and you", I said.
"Sure, I'll go grab my jacket", she said running down the hall.
That girl something for jackets, then my phone rang and it was Freddie.
F: Ma'am, the business partners have arrived.
R: Cancel all my appoints for today and the rest of the week.
F: But we've waiting for them for ages, how could you just cancel like that.
R: Somethings are more important.
Freddie's POV
We have been waiting for this deal for months and she just bailed out on us because somethings are more important. I'm pretty sure it's her daughter and I will make sure that the little Alexa is out of the picture because once she's gone our dear boss will be nothing but miserable. Then I can take all this money and fame to myself. Yes.
Rebecca's POV
I ended the call and I saw Alexa looking sadly at me
"You're not going are you", she said
"No, you are more important", I said raising her chin up.
"Lets go", I said taking her hand.
Alexa's POV
We sat down on a bench at the beach watching the sun go down.
"Mom, that song Someone Like You, who does it remind you off", I said looking at her.
"I'll tell you when the time comes", She said.
"Oh okay", I said.
Rebecca's POV
I didn't want to tell her the truth now. I'm not ready to tell her about her real father but on her next birthday she'll get to know him. I sighed as I continued stroking her hair.
"It's getting late, we should go home now", I said getting up.
